CareReminder (the "app") is a recurring-reminder application. This policy explains what data is processed when you use the app.

1. Summary

Your reminders, lists and tracking (Done/Missed) stay on your device. We do not collect them or send them to any server.

No account is required.

The app shows ads (Google AdMob) and offers a "Pro" subscription (via Google Play) to remove them. These third-party services may process some technical data (see §3 and §4).

2. Data stored locally (not collected by us)

The information you enter — list names, reminders, frequencies, time windows, "Done / Missed" history, chosen language — is stored only in your device's local storage. It never leaves the phone, goes through no server, and is deleted when you uninstall the app (or clear its data).

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

To support the free version, we use Google AdMob. Google's ad SDK may collect and process technical data such as the device's advertising ID, IP address, device information and ad interactions, in order to serve, cap and measure ads.

In the EEA, UK and Switzerland, a consent screen (Google UMP) lets you accept or decline personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time via Settings → Privacy preferences in the app.

4. In-app purchases ("Pro" subscription)

The "Pro" subscription (which removes ads) is handled by Google Play Billing. The transaction and your payment methods are processed by Google; the app never sees or stores your payment data.

5. Permissions and why

Notifications: display reminders.

Alarms & reminders / exact alarms: fire reminders on time.

Boot completed: reschedule reminders after a restart.

Vibrate: signal a reminder.

Ignore battery optimizations: allow reliable background execution (some phones otherwise block reminders).

None of these permissions are used to collect personal data.

6. Data retention

App data stays on your device until you delete it (clear data) or uninstall. Data processed by Google (ads, purchases) is governed by Google's policies.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

Because your content stays local, you can access and delete it directly in the app or by uninstalling it. For advertising-related data, you can manage your consent in the app or via your device's Google settings. For any question, contact us at forestaldevel@gmail.com.

8. Children

The app is not intended for and not specifically directed at children under 13.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated. The date at the top of the page indicates the latest version.
