Think Like an Engineer

Welcome Teachers!

This 5th Grade lesson will explore Careers in Engineering and Science. This lesson is in conjunction with the “Manufacture Your Future” Events presented by the Discover Partnership Program at the Community Education Center.

This event is made up of three parts: Introduction to Manufacturing; Live, Virtual Event; and Student Reflection related to careers.

Day 1 – Enngineering and Science Careers Bingo (facilitated by the classroom teacher)

Day 2 – Live, Virtual Presentation (presented by Natalie Aiello, PSU Extension 4H, and Jeff Lechien/Bill Bliss, Engineers from Alpha Precision Group)

Day 3 – Find Your FIt in Engineering and Post Reflection (facilitated by classroom teacher)
