(June 13th-20th, 2026)

• Gained incredible exposure in dental mission work alongisde Dentists and performing a plethora of dental work the underserved population at Clinica Esperanza.

• Performed fillings, non-surgical extractions on Pediatric and Adult patients, Esthetic fillings on decayed anterior teeth, and Non-surgical endodontic therapy under Dr. Bobby Slosberg.

• Gained crucial restorative clinical tips from Dr. McMillan, Dr. Matt Mazzawi, Dr. Miles Mazzawi (Pediatric Dentist),  Dr. Ken Hutchinson, Dr. Goodell, Dr. Bryan, Dr. Dameron, etc.

• Provided a service of gratitude as a bilingual dental student and gained more dental experience and knowledge even through limited dental access.

• More than 80+ hours of Volunteer hours and mentoring first year dental students in head/neck screenings for the Latino Community in the CSRA.

• Currently serving as the Dental Coordinator for two years and has helped in dental supply logistics and collaborating with Medical students in running the Clinic smoothly.

• Translated and delivered awareness to the Latino Community and others on the various services provided by the Dental School (DCG). 

• Provided comprehensive free dental care such as Fillings, Extractions for the underserved in the Athens Community

• Collaborated with First and Second year dental students during restorative procedures.

• Gained valuable experience on dental mission work.

• Volunteered at the GDA special olympics this year, and gained unforgettable patient experiences by educating Special Olympic Athletes on Oral Health

• Molded custom heated sport occlusal guards for the Special olympic athletes.

• Gained great networking with Volunteer Dentists around the Metro Atlanta Area.
