No personal information collected by Career Builder Job App. We use Google AdMob to show ads, which is the only third-party advertising service in this app. Job listings are loaded from public third-party sources so you can search and apply without creating a profile. This page explains exactly what the app does and does not do with your data.

1. Our Commitment to Privacy

Career Builder Job App is built to help you discover remote and professional opportunities with confidence. We designed this app so you can search roles, save jobs, browse companies, and open apply links without creating an account, without signing in, and without sharing personal contact details. Protecting your privacy is a core principle of this product.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following from you:

• Your name

• Your phone number

• Your email address

• Your home or mailing address

• Your date of birth

• Government identifiers (SSN, ID numbers, etc.)

• Photos, contacts, or camera data

• Precise GPS location

No sign-up, login, or verification is ever required to use the app's core features.

3. Information Stored On Your Device

To power your experience, Career Builder Job App may store the following locally on your device only:

• Jobs you bookmark or save

• Roles you recently viewed

• Your search queries, filters, and category choices

• App preferences (such as theme, language, and notification settings)

This information is not uploaded to our servers and is not linked to your identity. When you apply for a role, you leave Career Builder Job App and continue on the employer's or listing provider's website—we do not receive your application details.

4. Voice Search (Optional)

If you choose to use voice search, the app requests microphone access only at the moment you tap the microphone button. Speech is handled by your device's system speech recognition service. We do not record, store, or transmit voice audio to Career Builder Job App servers.

5. Job Listings (Third-Party Sources)

Career Builder Job App fetches public job postings from third-party listing providers (such as Remotive) to display titles, companies, descriptions, and apply links inside the app. We send only the requests needed to load listings (for example, category or search parameters)—not your name, email, or contact information.

6. Advertising (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements inside this app. AdMob is a third-party advertising service operated by Google LLC, and it is the only third-party advertising service integrated into this app.

To serve relevant ads and measure their performance, Google AdMob and its partners may collect:

• Your device's advertising identifier (Android Ad ID)

• General device information (model, OS version, language)

• Coarse, non-precise location derived from your IP address

• Ad interaction events (impressions, clicks)

This information is collected by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's own privacy and ad policies. You can review or change your advertising preferences at any time under:

Android Settings → Privacy → Ads

From there you can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads.

7. Cookies and Tracking

The app itself does not use browser cookies. Google AdMob may use SDK-level identifiers for ad delivery and fraud prevention, as described in the section above.

8. Network and Permissions

The app requests only the permissions it needs to function:

• Internet access — required to load job listings and advertisements.

• Network state — required for reliable ad and content delivery.

• Advertising ID (Android 13+) — required by Google AdMob when ads are enabled.

• Microphone — optional; used only when you initiate voice search.

We do not request access to contacts, photos, camera, calendar, SMS, or precise location.

9. Data Security

Because we do not collect personal information or account credentials, there is no personal user account that can be compromised. Saved jobs, preferences, and browsing state remain on your device unless you explicitly share content outside the app (for example, by opening an apply link in your browser).

10. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for general professional use and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

11. Your Choices and Rights

Because we do not collect identifying information, there is no personal account or profile to delete on our side. You can fully reset your data at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app's storage from your device settings.

For ad-related choices, use the controls in your device's Privacy / Ads settings.

12. Changes to This Policy

If this policy is updated, the revised version will be available within the app on this screen. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
