C1 CAREER AMBASSADOR

Deneisha is from Inglewood and Los Angeles, California. She doesn’t have a passion but she chooses to follow the spirit as to what her calling is. Thus far, her calling has been to inspire, place life into and back into individuals that may have felt that they have lost inspiration, hope, confidence, ambition, insight, drive, willingness, understanding the importance of transition and transformation to become greater personally in who they are, who they would like to become, in a more positive and profound way. She will thrive in any adverse and non-adverse situation. Understanding that each individual processes information differently and will grow on different time frames is key to it all. Every individual has the light of a beach house, high beams, and any bright light inside them that need positive love and caring assistance to shine outwardly. Ms. Jackson applied to CDTech as a Career Ambassador because the schedule connected with the need of her personal and professional life as well as being able to work freely without being restricted to the same job daily. CDTech career ambassador program will provide internal and mental growth with providing more community and business connections. Her goals align with the organization/program because she loves living a free life. Ms. Jackson has a free spirit, building character in individuals with the assistance of advocating for them while they become stronger in expressing their own voice in a positive, productive, humble way without being bullied or being taken advantage of. Personal growth is a MUST!!!




ISRAEL

C1 CAREER AMBASSADOR

Israel Morales is a career ambassador at CDTech. He is a Los Angeles native and is looking forward to making the people of the South LA Community aware of the development projects that are taking place in this community and informing residents in the area of the great opportunities they could take advantage of. His position as a CDTech Ambassador plays a KEY role in assisting residents who are unaware of industries that are hiring and training in the community. Israel has experience living in South Los Angeles and understands the obstacles with job search and employment. Grasping the importance of resources Israel has developed research skills to identify employment and training opportunities. He also benefits from being bilingual in spanish and english which will come to use because South Los Angeles is a growing hispanic community.




jEANNETTE

C1 CAREER AMBASSADOR

Jeannette was born and raised in South Central Los Angeles. She is passionate about life, living life to the fullest, to find peace and happiness within herself and the people that she loves. Jeannette applied for the Career Ambassador position because CD Tech aligns with some of her life goals. She would like to give back to the community that helped shape her into the person she is today. The program South-Central Los Angeles Career Ambassadors has given her the opportunity to give back to her community by connecting the people that live there to jobs, growth opportunities, and to inform them about what is going on in their community.

C1 CAREER AMBASSADOR

Mercedes was born and raised in South-Central Los Angeles. She currently attends Los Angeles Trade-Technical Community College. She is passionate about learning, personal growth and helping others. Mercedes joined CDtech Career Ambassadors because she wants to engage and educate fellow residents on vital issues like employment and displacement. The South-Central Career Ambassadors Program supports her to take action and connect people, organizations and ideas. She believes working as a career ambassador can help her discover new passions and build emotional intelligence, confidence and character. She values community, unity and hard work, she will like to pass down through volunteer efforts and civic engagement in order to strengthen the economic base of the neglected communities for greater South Los Angeles.



RICHELLE

C1 CAREER AMBASSADOR

Richelle Callies is a Career Ambassador at the Community Development Tech Center Community Service Nonprofit where she is focused on career development, community engagement, to develop, execute, and assess the comprehensive recruitment programs and coordinate all related major events. Her interest in community development began during her studies as a Physician Assistant at Charles R. Drew University. During her studies she had the opportunity to work in pediatrics and family medicine. She learned about the inequalities affecting marginalized communities, such as health, economic and environmental disparities. Inspired by this experience, upon graduation, Richelle accepted a position as Physician Assistant at St Frances Hospital from 2012-2015. Richelle provided pediatric wellness exams, community outreach and conducted research on health issues affecting various communities. Richelle has received certificates of appreciation from the City of Los Angeles and the Department of Veterans Affair for her community work with individuals, Veterans and Families of Veterans. Richelle is also a Certified Peer Support Specialist and helps to support individuals who struggle with mental health, psychological trauma or substance abuse. Richelle aspires to uplift, educate and empower the South-Central Los Angeles community in career development and offer resources to personal development programs. When she is not busy reading about current affairs, Richelle enjoys volunteering and spending time with her four daughters, granddaughter and extended family.

SENIOR PROGRAM MANAGER

Kaylin is passionate about making our communities stronger. She is motivated to help historically marginalized people of color become their best selves. To meet this goal, Kaylin merges her background in academic research with her experience in community-based organizations. She is dedicated to empowering youth, particularly those affected by poverty, homelessness, poor education, and trauma. As Senior Program Manager of the South-Central LA Career Ambassadors Program, Kaylin hopes to create an environment of growth, compassion, and innovation to create real change in her community. Kaylin's self care practices include drawing, painting, and sunbathing.
