The Care Relationships and Networks in ADRD (CARE-NET) Study focuses on care networks of adult children caring for a parent with dementia, memory changes, or forgetfulness. Our goal is to identify who helps adult children with care, and the aspects of these care networks that are most helpful in the care journey. 

If you are 1) aged 18+ and 2) caring for a parent living with dementia, this study might be for you.

All parent-child relationship types are eligible, including adoptive, foster, and step relationships. Parents can live anywhere, including at home, with others, or in a facility. Care might include personal care, mobility, household or medical tasks, transportation, financial or emotional support, coordinating other care network members, or other forms of assistance.

This study is designed to be low maintenance and all data collection can take place within your own home. Participants will complete an online survey. Some will also engage in a conversation with a researcher using Zoom so we can learn more about your experiences. All information will be kept strictly confidential.
