CardWallet Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 July 2026
CardWallet ("the app") is published by BG Apps. This policy explains what data the app handles.
1. Data stored on your device
All app content — the retailers you add, the barcode/QR values you scan or enter, and any photos you take of the front/back of your physical cards — is stored only locally on your device, inside the app's private storage. It is never uploaded, synced or shared with us or any third party. Deleting the app, or using Settings → Delete all cards, permanently deletes this data.
2. Camera access
The app requests camera access only to let you scan a card's barcode/QR code and to photograph the front/back of a physical card for your own reference. Photos are saved only to the app's private storage on your device — never to your phone's shared photo gallery, and never uploaded anywhere.
3. Advertising
The app shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may process device identifiers (such as the advertising ID) to serve and measure ads. In the European Economic Area and the UK you will be asked for consent before any ad is shown, and you can change your choice at any time under Settings → Privacy options.
For details on how Google processes data, see: https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites
4. Data we collect
We — the app developer — collect no personal data at all. The app contains no analytics, no accounts and no tracking beyond what Google AdMob requires to serve ads.
