CardNest is designed primarily as an offline business card scanner and manager. Most data processing happens directly on your device.

The App allows users to scan and manage business cards.

How It Works:

Google ML Kit Text Recognition
Barcode Scanning
to process card information directly on your device.
Storage:
All scanned cards and extracted data are stored locally on your device using secure local storage technologies such as:
SQLite (sqflite)
Secure Storage (flutter_secure_storage)
We do NOT upload or store your business card data on our servers.
The App may request the following permissions:
Used to scan business cards.
Used to select existing business card images.
Used only to save scanned contacts into your phone’s contact book.
The App does NOT read or upload your existing contacts.
Used to protect your data with:
Fingerprint
Face ID
Device biometrics
Biometric data is handled entirely by your device operating system. We never access or store biometric information.
We use Google Firebase services to improve app quality and stability.

This information does not personally identify users.

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age.

Delete data at any time
Deleting the App may also remove locally stored data.
