Letter from Our President

Dear Parents, Guardians, Teachers and Staff,

I am honored to serve as the President of the Jackie D. Caffey Cardinal Pride PTO for the 2023 - 2024 school year. As we embark on another exciting academic year, I want to extend a warm welcome to all of our new and returning members. 

The PTO plays a crucial role in fostering a strong and supportive school community. Our mission is to enhance the educational experience of our students by facilitating collaboration between parents, teachers and administrators. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of our children.

I want to emphasize that the PTO is open to all parents, guardians and teachers. Your involvement, no matter how big or small is highly valued and appreciated. Whether you can volunteer your time, expertise or resources, your contributions are essential to the success of our endeavors.

Here are a few key points I'd like to highlight for this school year:

• Committees and Initiatives: We have several committees in place to address different aspects of our school community, including teacher appreciation, fundraising, athletics concession, events, communication and more. I encourage you to explore these opportunities to get involved and make a positive impact.

• Meetings and Communication:  We will hold regular PTO meetings throughout the year to discuss upcoming events, share updates and gather input from our members. Please see our meetings page for dates, times and the link to Zoom access in the case you can not attend in person. 

• Collaboration: Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. We look forward to working closely with teachers, administrators and all stakeholders to create a supportive and enriching environment for our students.

• Feedback and Ideas: Your feedback and ideas are invaluable to us. If you have suggestions, concerns or initiatives you'd like to see implemented, please don't hesitate to each out to us. We are here to listen and act on your behalf.

In closing, I want to express my gratitude for your commitment to the education and well-being of our students. Together, we can achieve great things for our school.
