Cardia – Blood Pressure Log · Effective 26 September 2026
The short version: Pressia does not collect your data. There is no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party code in the app. Everything you enter stays on your iPhone, and you decide if anything is ever shared.
Cardia is published on the App Store by Soukaina Hassani ("we", "us"). This policy explains what happens to the information you use in the Cardia app for iPhone and its Home Screen widgets.
You may enter blood pressure readings, pulse, notes, tags, medications and dose history, weight, blood glucose, and optionally a name and year of birth for a report. This information is:
Stored only on your device, in the app's local database. We never receive it.
Shared with Cardia's own widgets through a storage area on the same device, so the widget can show your latest reading. It does not leave the device.
Deleted when you delete the app. If your iPhone is backed up to iCloud or to a computer, Apple's backup may include the app's data, according to your device settings.
Apple Health sync is optional and off until you turn it on. If you enable it, Cardia asks for your permission and then reads and writes blood pressure, heart rate, weight and blood glucose in Apple Health on your device. Data obtained from Apple Health is never used for advertising or marketing, is never sold, and is never shared with third parties. You can change or revoke access at any time in the Health app or in the iPhone Settings app.
Medication reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone. No reminder information is sent to any server.
PDF reports and CSV files are created on your device. They are shared only when you choose a destination in the iOS share sheet, for example Mail, Messages, Files or a printer. What happens to the file afterwards is governed by the service you chose.
If you turn on the app lock, Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode is checked by iOS. We never receive biometric information.
Cardia Plus is sold through the App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we do not receive your payment details. The app checks whether a subscription is active using Apple's StoreKit on your device. Apple's own privacy policy applies to your App Store account.
We do not collect, store or process your health data on any server.
We do not use analytics, tracking, advertising identifiers or third-party SDKs.
We do not sell or share personal data.
Because your data is held only on your own device, you have direct control over it: you can view, edit, export and delete every entry in the app, and deleting the app removes it. As we hold no copy of your data, we cannot access, correct or delete it on your behalf. If you email us, we use your message only to reply to you.
Cardia is intended for adults managing their own health or a family member's. It is not directed at children.
Cardia does not measure blood pressure and is not a medical device. It does not diagnose or treat any condition and does not provide medical advice. See the Terms of Use.
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with a new effective date.
