一、政策范围

本隐私政策说明 Carder Microsoft Edge 扩展如何处理用户数据。Carder 用于将用户在当前网页主动选取的文字制作成可预览、编辑、复制或下载的 PNG 摘录卡片。Carder 的 Chrome 版本采用相同的数据处理方式。本政策不涵盖用户通过其他网站、应用程序或服务分享卡片后，第三方对数据的处理。

二、Carder 处理的数据

当用户主动通过快捷键、右键菜单或扩展弹窗使用 Carder 时，扩展会处理：

• 用户在当前网页主动选取的文字；

• 当前活动标签页的网页标题和网址，用于卡片来源信息；

• 如果用户选择在卡片上加入二维码，该当前页面网址会编码在卡片二维码中。

Carder 不读取完整浏览历史或未选取的网页内容，不读取账户密码或剪贴板内容，也不在后台持续监控浏览活动。Carder 不收集用户的健康、财务、付款或身份验证信息。

三、数据用途

上述数据仅用于显示和编辑卡片预览、呈现来源信息、按用户选择生成二维码，以及在用户明确点击后生成 PNG、复制卡片或下载图片。Carder 不将这些数据用于广告、用户画像或与卡片制作无关的用途。

四、本地处理、临时储存与保留

卡片文字、来源标题、网址及相关临时数据均在用户的设备和浏览器中处理。Carder 使用浏览器的本机扩展储存空间，短暂地将数据从后台程序传递至预览弹窗；弹窗读取后，Carder 会移除这次操作的临时数据。若浏览器或弹窗发生错误，临时数据可能保留到弹窗下次成功读取，或直到用户移除 Carder。

PNG 卡片在本机生成。用户选择下载的图片会依浏览器设置保存在设备上；用户点击“复制卡片”后，Carder 会将 PNG 写入系统剪贴板，但不会读取剪贴板内容。用户之后通过其他应用或服务分享图片，是由用户主动发起的操作，并受相应第三方政策约束。

五、数据分享与传输

Carder 不会将所选文字、页面标题、网址或生成的图片传送至 Carder 的服务器或第三方服务器，也不会出售、出租或分享这些数据。Carder 不使用分析、追踪或广告服务收集这些数据。扩展代码及卡片生成所需资源包含在扩展程序中并在本机运行，不会下载或执行远程代码。

六、可选的作者支持页面

Carder 提供可选的作者支持页面，其中显示微信支付和支付宝二维码。Carder 本身不处理付款，也不接收或储存支付凭据、银行卡信息或交易详情。用户若选择扫码付款，付款由相应支付服务处理，并受该服务自己的隐私政策和条款约束。Carder 不会收到用户是否付款或付款金额的信息。

七、用户的选择与控制

用户自行决定是否选取文字并启动 Carder、是否在卡片中加入二维码，以及是否复制或下载卡片。用户可关闭预览弹窗结束当次操作，或从 Microsoft Edge 移除 Carder；移除扩展会清除浏览器为 Carder 保存的本机数据。已下载到设备或复制到剪贴板的图片，可使用设备或操作系统提供的功能管理。

八、政策更新

如果 Carder 的数据处理方式或本政策发生变化，更新后的政策会发布在此页面，并注明新的生效日期。若变化涉及新的数据用途或传输方式，Carder 会按适用要求提供告知和选择。

Carder Privacy Policy

For Microsoft Edge

Effective date: October 16, 2026

Scope

1. This Privacy Policy explains how the Carder extension for Microsoft Edge handles user data. Carder turns text that a user actively selects on the current webpage into a PNG excerpt card that the user can preview, edit, copy, or download. The Chrome version of Carder follows the same data practices. This Policy does not cover how third-party websites, applications, or services handle a card after the user chooses to share it through them.

Data processed by Carder

When a user actively invokes Carder through its keyboard shortcut, context-menu command, or extension popup, Carder processes:

• Text selected by the user on the current webpage;

• The title and URL of the current active tab, for the card’s source information; and

2. • If the user chooses to add a QR code to the card, the current page URL, which is encoded in that QR code.

Carder does not access the user’s complete browsing history or unselected webpage content, read account passwords or clipboard contents, or continuously monitor browsing activity in the background. Carder does not collect health, financial, payment, or authentication information.

How the data is used

3. The data above is used only to display and edit the card preview, show source information, generate a QR code when selected by the user, and create a PNG when the user explicitly chooses to copy or download the card. Carder does not use this data for advertising, profiling, or purposes unrelated to creating cards.

Local processing, temporary storage, and retention

4. Card text, source title, URL, and related temporary data are processed on the user’s device in the browser. Carder uses the browser’s local extension storage to briefly pass data from the background process to the preview popup. Carder removes the temporary data after the popup reads it. If a browser or popup error interrupts this handoff, temporary data may remain until the popup successfully reads it or until Carder is removed.

PNG cards are generated locally. A downloaded image is saved on the user’s device according to the browser’s settings. When the user clicks “Copy card,” Carder writes the PNG to the system clipboard but does not read clipboard contents. Any later sharing through another application or service is initiated by the user and is subject to that third party’s policies.

Sharing and transmission

5. Carder does not transmit selected text, page titles, URLs, or generated images to Carder’s servers or third-party servers. Carder does not sell, rent, or share this data, and does not use analytics, tracking, or advertising services to collect it. The extension code and resources needed to generate cards are included in the extension package and run locally; no remote code is downloaded or executed.

Optional creator-support page

6. Carder provides an optional creator-support page that displays WeChat Pay and Alipay QR codes. Carder does not process payments or receive or store payment credentials, bank-card information, or transaction details. If a user chooses to scan and pay, the relevant payment service processes the transaction under its own privacy policy and terms. Carder does not receive information about whether the user paid or the amount.

User choices and controls

7. Users decide whether to select text and invoke Carder, whether to add a QR code, and whether to copy or download a card. Users can close the preview popup to end the current operation or remove Carder from Microsoft Edge; removing the extension removes local data stored by the browser for Carder. Images downloaded to the device or copied to the clipboard can be managed using the controls provided by the device or operating system.

Changes to this Policy

8. If Carder’s data practices or this Policy change, the updated Policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. If a change introduces a new purpose or method of data transmission, Carder will provide any notice and choices required by applicable rules.
