2. Information We Collect and Process

A. Microphone audio for clap detection

The App uses your device microphone to listen for clap sounds so it can trigger the phone finder feature.

- Microphone access is used only to detect clap patterns.

- Audio is processed on the device in real time.

- The App is not designed to store, upload, or transmit microphone recordings to us.

B. Motion sensor data processed on the device

The App may use motion-related sensors available on your device, such as the accelerometer or linear acceleration sensor, to reduce false triggers while clap detection is active.

- This sensor data is processed locally on your device.

- We do not use this data to identify you.

- The App is not designed to store or send motion sensor data to us.

C. Notifications

The App may request permission to send notifications so it can show foreground service status and other app-related alerts while clap detection is active.

D. Information you provide directly

If you send feedback through the App, we collect the message you type. Do not include sensitive personal information in feedback messages unless you want us to receive it.

If you voluntarily include contact details, such as an email address, inside your feedback message, we may use that information to respond to you.

E. Information collected automatically by our app services

The App may send limited technical and usage information to our servers, including:

- a generated install identifier;

- app version;

- package/application identifier;

- basic in-app event names, such as taps on certain app actions; and

- feedback submission content.

We use this information to operate the App, understand feature usage, count installs, respond to feedback, and improve reliability.

F. Information stored locally on your device

The App stores settings on your device so your preferences can be remembered, such as:

- whether listening is on or off;

- vibration options;

- ringtone, volume, and repeat settings;

- clap sensitivity and clap count;

- silent override; and

- quiet hours settings.

Depending on your Android device and account settings, some locally stored app settings may also be included in Android backup or device-transfer features controlled by Google or your device manufacturer.

G. Advertising data if AdMob is enabled

If you use a version of the App that includes Google AdMob, Google and its partners may collect or receive certain information from your device for advertising, fraud prevention, measurement, and ad delivery. This may include:

- advertising identifiers, such as the Android Advertising ID;

- IP address;

- device and app information;

- approximate location derived from IP address;

- ad interaction data; and

- diagnostics and performance information.

This advertising-related data is governed by Google's own policies in addition to this Privacy Policy.

We use the information described above to:

- provide the clap detection and phone finder features;

- operate optional vibration, sound, and notification features;

- save your settings and restore your preferences;

- process feedback and respond to support requests;

- understand app usage and improve performance;

- count installs and basic product interactions;

4. What We Do Not Intend to Do

Except as described in this Privacy Policy:

- we do not sell your personal information;

- we do not use the microphone to store or upload audio recordings for clap detection.

We may share information in the following cases:

- Legal or safety reasons: if required to comply with law, regulation, legal process, or valid government request, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the App.

- Business transfers: if the App or related business assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale.

We do not claim control over information collected by third-party services under their own policies.

6. AdMob, Consent, and Advertising Choices

If AdMob is enabled in the App:

- ads may be provided by Google AdMob;

- Google may use device identifiers and similar technologies for advertising and measurement;

- depending on your country or region, you may be shown a consent message before personalized ads are used;

- you may be able to limit ad personalization through your Android device settings or through consent options made available in the App, if implemented; and

- you can learn more from Google's Privacy Policy and AdMob documentation.

If you plan to serve ads to users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or other regions with consent requirements, you should make sure your final app build includes an appropriate consent flow before release.

7. Data Retention

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to operate the App, maintain records, respond to feedback, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with legal obligations.

In general:
