Welcome to Car Connect ("the App", "we", "our", or "us").

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, subject to these Terms and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

The App is licensed, not sold. All rights not expressly granted remain reserved by us.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not:

• Copy, reproduce, distribute, or resell the App.

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the App's source code.

• Circumvent security, licensing, or access restrictions.

• Use the App in any manner that interferes with its normal operation.

• Use the App in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Failure to comply with these Terms may result in suspension or termination of your access to the App.

3. App Features

The App offers a variety of features designed to personalize and enhance your driving experience, including but not limited to:

• Personalized car widgets

• Phone-friendly driving interface

• Head-Up Display (HUD)

• Custom connection and disconnect sound effects

• Navigation services

• Weather information

• Music playback controls

Some features require internet access, compatible devices, supported operating systems, or permissions such as Location, Photos, or Media access.

Certain features also rely on third-party services and may become unavailable if those services are modified or discontinued.

4. Driving Safety

The App is intended to enhance your driving experience but is not a substitute for safe and responsible driving.

Always pay full attention to the road, obey all traffic laws, and operate your vehicle safely. Do not interact with the App while driving unless it is safe and lawful to do so.

You are solely responsible for the safe operation of your vehicle and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations.

5. Head-Up Display (HUD)

The Head-Up Display (HUD) feature is provided solely for convenience.

Information displayed through the HUD may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable due to device limitations, GPS accuracy, network connectivity, or other factors.

HUD information should never be relied upon as the sole source of driving information. Always refer to your vehicle's instruments and surrounding road conditions while driving.

6. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with trusted third-party services, including but not limited to:

• Mapbox

• Apple Weather (WeatherKit)

• Apple Music

• Spotify

• Google Firebase

These services are provided and operated by their respective owners and are governed by their own Terms of Service and Privacy Policies.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

7. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

The App offers optional premium features through Apple's In-App Purchase system.

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID upon confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current subscription expires.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID Account Settings.

Free trials, introductory pricing, promotional offers, and subscription plans may be available from time to time and are subject to change without notice.

All purchases, subscription management, billing, and refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with the App Store Terms and Conditions. We do not process or store your payment information.

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the App, you also agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its software, user interface, graphics, designs, icons, logos, text, widgets, sound effects, and all related content, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

All intellectual property rights remain the exclusive property of us or our licensors.

Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership of the App or any of its content.

10. Updates and Service Changes

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the App at any time without prior notice.

We may also release updates to improve functionality, security, compatibility, or performance.

Your continued use of the App following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised features and these Terms.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of:

• Merchantability

• Fitness for a particular purpose

• Non-infringement

• Accuracy

• Reliability

• Continuous availability

We do not guarantee that the App will operate without interruption, errors, or compatibility issues with every device or vehicle.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the App.

This includes, but is not limited to, loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

Our total liability arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the total amount you paid for subscriptions or purchases through the App during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device and canceling any active subscription through your Apple ID Account Settings.

Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that accrued before termination.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or business practices.

Updated Terms will be published within the App or on our website with a revised Effective Date.

Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of [Country/Region], without regard to its conflict of law principles.

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
