These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Carbridge: YouTube Player ("Carbridge," "the App," "we," "us," or "our"), developed for iPhone and iPad (Bundle ID: com.tubelite.player).
By downloading, installing, or using Carbridge, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. OVERVIEW OF THE SERVICE
Carbridge is a native iOS application that provides a user interface to open and play YouTube videos from URLs that you manually provide. The App also helps you organize local library metadata on your device, such as watch history entries, playlists, bookmarks, and playback preferences.
Important limitations:
• Carbridge is NOT the official YouTube app and is NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
• Carbridge does NOT host, operate, or maintain any video streaming servers.
• Carbridge does NOT download, save, export, or store YouTube video files on your device for offline use.
• Carbridge does NOT redistribute, re-upload, or cache YouTube video content on developer-operated servers.
• Video playback, when initiated by you, is delivered online through YouTube's services via the official YouTube IFrame Player API. An active internet connection is required.
• The App does not depend on a developer backend server for accounts, syncing, content delivery, or feature updates to your personal library data.
2. ELIGIBILITY AND LICENSE
You must comply with applicable laws and the YouTube Terms of Service when using Carbridge.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on Apple devices you own or control, solely for lawful personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms and Apple's App Store rules.
You may not:
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except as permitted by law
• Circumvent technical restrictions, DRM, or access controls
• Use the App to infringe copyrights or violate third-party rights
• Use the App for unlawful, harmful, or abusive purposes
• Misrepresent Carbridge as an official YouTube or Google product
3. NO ADVERTISING
Carbridge does not display third-party advertisements and does not integrate advertising SDKs. The App interface is not monetized through ad networks.
4. USER CONTENT AND YOUTUBE
You are responsible for the YouTube URLs you choose to open. Carbridge does not curate, verify, or guarantee the availability, accuracy, legality, or quality of third-party YouTube content.
YouTube videos remain subject to YouTube's terms, policies, geographic restrictions, age restrictions, copyright rules, and content owner settings. We are not responsible if a video becomes unavailable, blocked, muted, or removed by YouTube or its rights holders.
5. LOCAL DATA ONLY — NO DEVELOPER SERVER
Carbridge is designed to work without a user account system operated by us. Your watch history, playlists, bookmarks, playback positions, thumbnail cache, and app settings are stored locally on your device.
We do not operate a cloud service to collect, sync, or update your personal library data on our servers. Uninstalling the App or removing local data may permanently delete information stored only on your device.
6. CARBRIDGE PRO (IN-APP PURCHASE)
Carbridge Pro unlocks full access to the App and its features. Without an active Pro subscription or Lifetime purchase, access after onboarding is limited to the upgrade flow.
Pro unlocks include, without limitation:
• Full access to main app tabs (Carbridge, Library, Settings)
• Paste-and-play workflow for user-supplied YouTube URLs
• Built-in player tools (speed, loop, sleep timer, playlist actions, bookmarks)
• Local library features (history, playlists, bookmarks)
• Playback and settings functionality described in the App
Where to purchase or restore:
• First launch: Onboarding page 4/4 → Get Started → Unlock Carbridge
• Anytime: Settings → Pro → Carbridge Pro
• Restore Purchases: footer link on the upgrade screen
Available plans:
• Weekly (auto-renewable subscription)
• Monthly (auto-renewable subscription)
• Yearly (auto-renewable subscription)
• Lifetime (one-time non-consumable purchase)
Payment is processed by Apple through your Apple ID. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Renewal charges may be applied to your Apple ID within 24 hours prior to period end. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
Restore Purchases is available for eligible prior transactions tied to the same Apple ID.
7. REFUNDS
All purchases are processed by Apple. Carbridge does not process refunds directly.
Refund requests, billing disputes, and purchase reversals are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies. To request a refund or report a purchase issue, use Apple's official support channels:

We cannot override Apple's refund decisions.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Carbridge, its branding, design, and original app code are owned by the developer or licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
YouTube, the YouTube logo, and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC. All third-party trademarks belong to their respective owners.
9. DISCLAIMERS
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
• The App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• YouTube content will always be available or playable
• Background audio, Picture-in-Picture, AirPlay, or multitasking behavior will work in every device state or for every video
• Features will remain unchanged in future versions
10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR CARBRIDGE PRO IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $10, WHERE PERMITTED BY LAW.
11. CHANGES TO THE APP AND TERMS
We may update the App or these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes may be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, in-app notices or store listing updates.
12. TERMINATION
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the App where required by law, platform policy, or operational necessity.
13. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by applicable law in the developer's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country provide otherwise.
