welcome to orange overload. these terms of service ("terms") govern your use of orange overload and its related services.
by accessing or playing orange overload, you agree to these terms. if you do not agree with these terms, you should not use the game.
orange overload is developed and operated by carbondev.
these terms apply to the orange overload game, its multiplayer features, online services, websites, and other services directly provided by carbondev in connection with orange overload.
you may use orange overload only if you are permitted to do so under the laws and rules that apply to you.
if you are under the age required to agree to these terms in your location, you should have a parent or legal guardian review these terms with you.
some orange overload features may use third-party services to identify and store player information.
you are responsible for activity associated with your player account and for complying with these terms.
you may not:
impersonate another player or person
intentionally provide false information to obtain an unfair advantage
attempt to access another player's account or data
share account credentials in a way that compromises account security
use another person's account without permission
when playing orange overload, you agree not to:
cheat or exploit unintended game mechanics
use unauthorized modifications, hacks, or software to gain an unfair advantage
interfere with the game's servers, networking, or services
intentionally disrupt other players' gameplay
exploit bugs after becoming aware of them without reporting them when appropriate
attempt to gain unauthorized access to game systems or player data
use the game to distribute malware or other harmful software
harass, threaten, or excessively disrupt other players
use the game to engage in illegal activity
abuse reporting or moderation systems
intentionally circumvent a ban or other restriction
carbondev may take action against accounts or players that violate these rules.
using cheats, unauthorized clients, exploits, or other methods intended to provide an unfair advantage is prohibited.
if you discover a bug or vulnerability, please report it to carbondev instead of using it to gain an advantage or negatively affect other players.
carbondev may remove progress, items, currency, or other game data obtained through cheating or exploitation.
carbondev may investigate violations of these terms and may take reasonable enforcement action.
depending on the circumstances, enforcement may include:
warnings
removal of game data
removal of in-game items or currency
temporary restrictions
temporary bans
permanent bans
we may take action without prior notice when reasonably necessary to protect the game, its players, or its services.
orange overload may contain virtual currency, cosmetics, unlockables, badges, or other digital items.
these items:
have no real-world monetary value
cannot be exchanged for real-world money through carbondev
are licensed to you for use within the game rather than sold as physical property
may be changed, removed, reset, or discontinued as part of game updates
carbondev does not guarantee that any particular virtual item, cosmetic, feature, or amount of virtual currency will remain available permanently.
orange overload is an evolving game.
carbondev may change, update, add, or remove features at any time. this may include:
gameplay mechanics
maps and game modes
cosmetics
virtual currency
progression
multiplayer functionality
online services
system requirements
we may also temporarily disable features for maintenance, security, or other technical reasons.
orange overload uses third-party services, including:
photon, provided by exit games, for multiplayer networking
playfab, provided by microsoft, for online game services and player data
your use of these services through orange overload may also be subject to the applicable terms and policies of those providers.
your use of orange overload is also subject to the orange overload privacy policy.
the privacy policy explains what information may be processed through orange overload and its third-party services and how that information is handled.
orange overload, including its software, artwork, branding, characters, game systems, audio, and other original content, is owned by or licensed to carbondev unless otherwise stated.
you may play the game and use its content as intended through the game.
you may not copy, redistribute, sell, sublicense, or commercially exploit orange overload or its original content without permission, except where applicable law permits otherwise.
if orange overload allows you to create or submit content in the future, you remain responsible for content you submit.
you must not submit content that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or otherwise violates these terms.
by submitting content to features that require it to be displayed or transmitted to other players, you grant carbondev the permissions reasonably necessary to operate those features.
carbondev does not guarantee that orange overload will always be available or uninterrupted.
the game may experience:
downtime
server outages
bugs
connection problems
maintenance
data loss
compatibility problems
service interruptions caused by third-party providers
we will make reasonable efforts to keep the game operational, but uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
you may stop using orange overload at any time.
carbondev may restrict or terminate your access to orange overload if you violate these terms or if doing so is reasonably necessary to protect the game, its players, or its services.
if access is terminated because of a violation, you may lose access to your game progress, cosmetics, virtual currency, or other associated data.
orange overload is provided on an "as available" basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
carbondev does not guarantee that the game will always be error-free, secure, compatible with every device, or continuously available.
nothing in these terms is intended to remove or limit rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, carbondev will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages resulting from your use of orange overload.
this section does not limit liability where doing so would be prohibited by applicable law.
carbondev may update these terms when orange overload or its services change.
when we make changes, we will update the last updated date at the top of this page.
your continued use of orange overload after updated terms become effective means that you accept the updated terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
