The Carbondale Cyclones compete in the Southern Illinois Youth Swim League. The SISL is a summer league for kids between the ages of 5 – 18 years of age. Members of the league include Carbondale, Anna, Herrin, Salem, Mt. Vernon, DuQuoin, and Marion.
Registration is now open via phone, email, or in person at the Life Center. Children must be able to swim 25 yards with no assistance. Practices take place at the Super Splash Park Monday – Friday. Our advanced swimmers will be practicing 7-8:15 a.m. and the beginners will practice 8:15-9:00. Additionally, we will have technique clinics on Monday and nights from 7:15-8:00 p.m. Those details will be posted soon!
Parental involvement is an important part of the success of the Cyclones. All parents are required to assist during home and away meets and are expected to play an active role in the different aspects of working and planning of the season.
