Did you know... the first Carberry Agricultural Society Fair was in October 1883 and was held on Carberry’s Main Street?
In 1885, the location was moved to an area north of Jardine Street. It was held here for another two years before moving to the present fairgrounds in 1899. No fairs were held in 1904, 1910, or 1933, 2020, and 2021. In 1897, the fair date changed from October to early summer. It drew one of the largest crowds (+2000 people) ever assembled on the Carberry Plains.
