"If you've made your way here, you must be ready for a new journey."
This is your first time here, in the Witch's Wood. This is your second time.
Your tenth. This is your hundredth journey in the Witch's Wood.
Whether you have been here before in this lifetime, or this is your first recollection...
You set out, solitary, with others alongside you.
However this journey has gone before, this time,
You are not alone.

Supported by community – newfound, long-known – you make your own way along the path.
Guided by friends, together you will meet with the Witches of the Woods.
Some woods are more literal than others.
Each path we take – and we will take several – will lead to the home realms of different magical beings. These beings, these Witches, are experienced practitioners, and can be initiators, challengers, mentors, if we ask them, and if the arrangement suits all involved.
They may become dear beloveds. Or you may never cross paths again.
They will share with us some of their gifts. The gifts of each are different, attuned to the Elements in the places they call home, where they live, create, tend, weave, and work magic.
If, that is, we show them we are ready to wield the tools of magic. The gifts of the Witch.
They will give us various challenges, should we choose to accept them, to deepen our experiences.
Through it all, we learn our own lessons, and share what we will, individuals within community.
At the end of this journey,
we celebrate together
in ritual.

About Elements of Magic
About Elements of Magic
Elements of Magic is a core class in the Reclaiming Tradition of Witchcraft.
In this class, we work together in community with other Witches, learning from the Elements as a foundation of magical practice, including creating and planning rituals collaboratively.
This class is introductory, and is a prerequisite for other Reclaiming core classes. Classes are co-taught to share and rotate leadership. Some classes have a theme: this one is "Gifts of the Witch."

Dates: May 9, & May 16-17, 2026
Time: 1-6pm Eastern, 2-7pm Atlantic
(including a one-hour break)
Payment Sliding Scale
$250-90 USD / $350-125 CAD
You decide where you slide. More guidance on this is in the registration form. Those able to pay higher on the scale help to provide scholarship for those in need.
This is a live, synchronous, participatory class. Sessions will not be recorded. Please plan to attend all three days, as each builds on the previous. The class culminates with a ritual planned by the students, as a group.
Payment is by sliding scale with additional scholarship available. Those who are able to pay higher on the scale are helping to make the class accessible for those who need assistance. There is a place in the form to let us know if you need financial aid other than full or partial scholarship. We are both teachers who have needed this type of access in the past, so we are committed (as is Reclaiming Tradition) to financial accessibility.
If you are attending an in-person camp this year and need this class as a prerequisite for Paths, there is a spot on the form to let us know.

Your guides on this journey are two Reclaiming Witches who met in the wilds of the internet. Both YouTube creators, they connected over the fact that both were involved in Reclaiming in areas with only small communities. Thus, they bonded over shared experiences in forming, nurturing, and teaching in small, local communities, and have been friends ever since.
As we are sharing this online class more broadly with some of our other online communities, many of you may know us by other names. For this class, we will be known by our current Reclaiming names: Ember and Carrion.

Originally from Erie lands (Turtle Island), Ember has been a practicing Pagan Witch for over 20 years, and a Reclaiming Witch for 10! They’ve been creating online content about modern Paganism and Witchcraft since 2009 (Cara Mia @cutewitch772 on YouTube) and have taught in-person and online since approximately 2014 (and 2021 in Reclaiming).
With a theatre arts background, Ember’s magic blends their love of story-telling, meaning-making, and creating ritual. They have been a Ritualist, Path Facilitator, Tech Witch, and Organizer at various Reclaiming Witchcamps, in-person and online.
The Elements are foundational to my practice – I return to them when I feel lost or overwhelmed. They bring me back to myself, my connection with nature and all life, and why I walk this path.

Born, raised, and still living on Wolastoqiyik lands (Turtle Island), Carrion has been practicing Witchcraft since Samhain of 2012, and teaching in-person since 2014. They are a Reclaiming Witch and OBOD (Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids) Druid. Their background in crisis intervention and education sectors inform their approach to teaching and Witchcraft of meeting folks where they are at to learn and make magic together in community.
Elements of Magic is a class I return to again and again and learn something new every time I teach it or take it. Jumping into the fools journey of this class – again and again – with beginners eyes has led me to renewing my relationship with the elements of spirit over the years.
