The first day of college was filled with mixed emotions — excitement, nervousness, and anticipation. The orientation program served as a bridge between high school life and the new academic journey that awaited us. Upon arriving at the campus, we were welcomed warmly by faculty members and student leaders who guided us to the venue. The atmosphere was lively, with banners, music, and an energy that made the start of the day less intimidating.

They reminded us of the importance of discipline, responsibility, and time management, as well as the value of seeking help when needed. Their words gave us a clearer idea of the expectations of college life and reassured us that support systems are always available.

After the formal talks, we were grouped together for icebreakers and team activities. At first, it felt awkward being with people I barely knew, but as the activities went on, laughter and conversations started to flow. These games were not only fun but also helped break down barriers, making it easier to connect with my fellow freshmen.

Throughout the orientation, we were also introduced to the school’s facilities, organizations, and services. Knowing that there were clubs, guidance programs, and student support offices made me feel more confident about adjusting to this new environment. Meeting classmates and future friends during this time reminded me that I was not going through this journey alone.

The event gave me both direction and encouragement, turning my nervousness into excitement for the days to come.
ZDSPGC// ACQUAINTANCE PARTY & INDUCTION OF SSG OFFICIALS
August 27, 2025 - ZGSPGC PAGADIAN CAMPUS successfully conducted its Acquaintance Party and Induction of the New Set of SSG OFFICERS with the theme: "Unveiling New Beginnings, Bridging Hearts, and Building Friendships" at Mega Gym, Dao, Pagadian City.
The acquaintance party was more than just a social gathering; it was an opportunity to break the ice, build connections, and create a sense of belonging within our community. At first, there was a sense of nervous excitement in the air as everyone entered the venue, unsure of what to expect. However, as the program unfolded, those initial nerves gradually gave way to laughter, conversations, and shared experiences.
What stood out the most was how the activities were thoughtfully planned to encourage interaction and teamwork. Icebreakers, games, and group presentations helped us step out of our comfort zones and allowed us to see each other as more than just names and faces. It was a reminder that behind every person is a story worth discovering.

Overall, the acquaintance party was a memorable experience. It helped us start the school year with a renewed sense of connection and energy. I’m grateful for the chance to meet new people, share laughs, and feel more at home in this new environment. Moving forward, I hope the bonds formed during the party continue to grow and make our time together even more enriching.

ZDSPGC// Leadership Training Program
August 29, 2025 - The SSG Officers of Pagadian Campus conducted its Leadership Training Program to equip the leaders with enough knowledge in handling the organization, fostering good governance and ensuring authenticity amids circumstances.
Topics included were Leadership, Budgeting and Financial Management, Mental Health, Crafting of Minutes and Resolutions, and Parliamentary Procedures.

The morning began with the thrilling Amazing Race that tested everyone’s energy and teamwork, followed by a true showcase of intellect and creativity across various platforms. From the strategic calm of the Chess board and the word duels of Scrabble, to the artistic flair of the Poster Making and Slogan contests, and the thought-provoking Debate and Extemporaneous Speech events. It was a day that not only highlighted talent and skill but also the spirit of camaraderie and healthy competition among all ZDSPGCians.
The first day of the Sports Fest 2025 was filled with energy, teamwork, and excitement. As seen in the pictures, both students and faculty participated actively — from the opening assembly to the fun games and competitive activities. The bright and sunny day perfectly matched the cheerful atmosphere, showing everyone’s enthusiasm to represent their teams and build camaraderie.
What stood out most was the spirit of unity and sportsmanship. Whether inside the classroom during formal activities or outdoors on the court, everyone showed cooperation, discipline, and joy.
