Off-duty law enforcement officers working as independent contractors are assigned by Authenticators, Inc. to authenticate autographs and game-used memorabilia at every Major League Baseball game. Only those items that an authenticator actually witnesses being signed or used in a game may be eligible for authentication under the MLB Authentication Program. Once witnessed, authenticated items receive a tamper-proof hologram created by OpSec, U.S. with a unique alphanumeric combination to easily identify their authenticity.

Team Issued is a designation by an independent third-party authenticator who attests that the item was issued by the Club to its clubhouse. This designation is not intended to determine use of the item in any capacity.

Open your authenticator app and tap Add Account or click the Add icon in the top right corner. If this is your first time setting up an account on the app, you might be prompted straight away to set up an account.

Not all FIDO authenticators can be used as passkeys, but you can still register those authenticators as security keys. Security keys are also WebAuthn credentials, but unlike passkeys they don't require user validation. Since security keys only need to verify user presence, they only count as a second factor and must be used in conjunction with your password.

Authenticator app

Make sure that you have an authenticator app (such as Authy, Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) downloaded and set up on your mobile device. Open the authenticator app and scan the QR code. If the QR code fails, copy and paste the alphanumeric code.

You'll receive a verification code in the authenticator app.

This is really quite surprising for me that there is no way to use the phone number and SMS message as a backup to authenticator if it fails. There should be a better way to handle this kind of situation.

Google Authenticator is an authenticator app by Google that implements two-step verification services using a time-based one-time password. The app offers a 6-digit dynamic code that changes every 30 seconds, and each verification code can only be used once. Once you have bound it, you will be asked to fill in the dynamic code for login, withdrawal, API creation, etc.

If the correct authentication code is given but the "Enable authorization" button remains grayed out, please make sure that the times on both authenticator and AnyDesk device are synchronized. As the verification codes are time-based, they will not authenticate if the times are asynchronous.

When connecting to an AnyDesk client with 2FA enabled, a 6-digit authorization key from the authenticator is requested directly after the unattended access password is manually or automatically submitted.

When I try to sign on I cannot because it reads that I need the authenticator app. I do not know what this is. I have looked in the help center but I still cannot find any info on it. Any help will be appreciated

Sorry for not replying sooner as I had a big crying jag I am so upset. I am using a laptop as I am not savvy enough to use my phone, as I am too old. I had just finished purchasing a shipping label when all of a sudden I was signed out of Etsy. When I tried to sign on I gave my email and password but then it asked for a authenticator app and I have no idea what it is or what it is. But I cannot go any further to sign on now. So I don;t know what is going to happen with my unfulfilled orders and of course Etsy give a recording when I try to reach them. Thank you for replying to me

Once you have the authenticator app on your phone you can use it to check the code that is sent when you log in to Etsy on your computer. The code is different every time you log in. All the authenticator app does is deliver that unique code for each log in.

hi!

see that similar issue:

i opened newly an etsy account.

i am trying to access it with my browser today. asking 'etsy authenticator app ' code.

i dont have it. (did not setup before with google authenticator )it seems that i needed to set up it on my account settings at beginning . somehow i missed that moment and i have two factor authentication turned on.

every time that i want to log in my account settings and try to setup my etsy authenticator app , etsy asking me authenticator app code.

I did solve the problem. I eventually got some help with Etsy to help me access that account. No more authenticator apps though. Too much hassle transferring to another phone. Google does not auto transfer the app. In my case my husband got my old phone and restored to original status and removed the app. Thanks for your help.

I use 2FA, but I don't use the authenticator app, you can choose the option to have them text you a code instead, that's what I do. Also when you set up 2FA, you can download a short list of, I think 10 backdoor codes that you can use if you have trouble with the app, get a new phone, etc. It's a pdf doc that I have saved on my pc.

Please get into the habit of opting for 2FA (two factor authentication) and using an app for important things like Paypal, Banking, etc because your phone number (which is so often used for sending verification codes) isn't necessarily securely in your ownership. Someone can claim to be you and actually persuade your mobile phone provider to give them a code (PAC code) verbally over the phone so they can change your SIM to another provider and then you've lost control of your number and the means to protect your passwords. An authenticator app sends a code to your DEVICE, so even if someone has managed to steal your mobile number, without having your actual phone, it's way harder for them to make changes to your passwords.

After enabling two-step verification, consider adding a backup phone that can receive text messages as well. If you ever lose your primary phone, or can't use your authenticator app, you can send a security code to your backup phone number instead.

2FA can be done when logging on through your HubSpot account or through Sign-In with Google. 2FA can be turned on as an SMS text message, or with an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Duo. You can also set up 2FA using the HubSpot mobile app. If you already set up HubSpot 2FA with Google Authenticator but have switched to a new Android phone, you can transfer Authenticator codes to your new device.

Important: Security keys that support WebAuthn or U2F and built-in authenticators can't be used when authenticating to Tableau Cloud from Tableau Desktop, Tableau Prep Builder, Tableau Bridge, and Tableau Content Migration Tool. If one of these verification methods have been registered, you (and your users) can register an additional verification method from your My Account Settings page in Tableau Cloud.

The email authenticator is a possession factor and fulfills the requirements for user presence. It allows users to authenticate with an One-Time Passcode (OTP) or email magic link (EML)that is sent to their primary email address. The user's ability to access the email verifies that the person making the sign-in attempt is the intended user. ff782bc1db
