The program’s fund was appropriated under the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) as financial assistance to LGUs, except for those under the BARMM, for the construction, concreting, rehabilitation, repair or improvement of the following: local roads and bridges, public markets, slaughterhouses, multi-purpose buildings/halls, multi-purpose pavements, drainage canals, sea wall or river wall, water system projects including Level 1 or stand-alone water points, evacuation centers, public parks, fish ports, and post-harvest facilities composed of ice plant and cold storage facilities.
The FALGU Fund also supports the purchase of ambulances, trucks, mini dump trucks, multi-purpose vehicles or multicabs, street lighting or barangay electrification, purchase of medical equipment, financial assistance for health and sports program, assistance programs and projects for education, health and social protection in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and assistance to indigent individuals or families in the form of medical, burial, transportation, food assistance, cash for work, or educational assistance.
FALGU is one of the programs under the Local Government Support Fund (LGSF) that directly provides financial assistance to LGUs to support various priority programs and projects that are necessary for delivering basic services.
Assists LGUs in the implementation of water supply and other local infrastructure projects that the people themselves and their cities and municipalities identified through the Local Poverty Reduction Action Plan (LPRAP). It is the people and the LGUs, not the national government agencies, that select – neither the latter choose/change – which projects are to be funded and implemented
The LGSF-SBDP is the National Government’s priority program to assist in the development and delivery of basic services in identified conflict-affected areas that fell behind caused by the CPP-NPA Terrorists.
The Support to Barangay Development Program (SBDP) is one of the major initiatives of the national government under Executive Order No. 70. The SBDP aims to deliver basic services and social development projects to beneficiary barangays that need tangible government interventions due to the previous influence of Communist Terrorist Groups (CTGs). The projects under SBDP include construction of farm-to-market roads, health stations, school buildings, water and sanitation systems, rural electrification, and social services such as agricultural and livelihood trainings and projects and immediate cash assistance to individuals and families.
Under the FY 2022 General Appropriations Act (GAA) Special Provision No. 4, The DILG, in the exercise of its supervisory power, is mandated to monitor and evaluate the performance of the LGUs in the implementation and management of all infrastructure projects through the use of Results-Based Monitoring and Evaluation Systems.
Conditional Matching Grant to Provinces for Road and Bridge Repair, Rehabilitation, and Improvement, a partnership program between the Department of the Interior and Local Government and the Department of Budget and Management, is a governance reform program that supports Provinces in the sustainable development and management of local roads, and improvement of national-local road connectivity across the country.
Projects under the DRRAP covers those concerned in the recovery and reconstruction of the economy and livelihood in the local government units that are directly affected by Taal volcano eruption, Typhoons "Quinta" and Ulysses, and Super Typhoon "Rolly". These projects, based on the approved local rehabilitation and recovery plans, include: shelter and resettlements, public infrastructure, such as roads, bridges, flood control, public buildings, and multi-purpose/evacuation/quarantine activities, education and health services, agriculture, and social protection.
The GEF is a new Program under the Local Government Support Fund designed to address issues on marginalization, unequal development, high poverty incidence and disparities in the net fiscal capacities of the LGUs as provided for in Section 8 of Executive Order No. 138 (Full Devolution of Certain Functions of the Executive Branch to Local Governments, Creation of a Committee on Devolution, and for Other Purposes), and Section 40 and 41 of its Implementation Rules and Regulations. It covers funding requirements of programs, projects and activities of poor, disadvantaged and lagging behind LGUs to gradually enable the full and efficient implementation of the functions and services devolved to the LGUs.
Assistance to Disadvantaged Municipalities (ADM) Program seeks to equitably assist all municipalities in the delivery of basic services by providing financial subsidy to municipalities for the implementation of their priority programs and projects

The SubayBayan System (Subaybayan ang Proyektong Bayan) is the DILG’s online platform that allows for real-time monitoring and reporting of infrastructure projects implemented by Local Government Units (LGUs), with funding and technical support from the national government.
Access is primarily granted to: -DILG Field Officers and Regional Offices -LGU Officials and Project Implementers -Partner National Government Agencies (NGAs) -Civil Society Organizations (for transparency and monitoring)
