After troubleshooting it for a day I narrowed the problem down to iOS simulator running (and not sure if it's its sharingd process, but it looks like it). Problem happens either or not I have iCloud enabled on the simulator device. Problem happens for both iPhone SE 10.3 and iPhone X 11.1 simulator. It doesn't matter if simulator executes some app or not. Just having the simulator running is causing the issue.

Same problem here with a new 14" MBP, Monterey 12.0.1 and Xcode 13.1. Whenever the iPhone simulator is running, the MBP never goes to sleep and runs down the battery. I usually only run the 12 Pro simulator, so I am not sure if other simulators would cause the same problem.

I am currently building an R10 simulator in my garage - and thinking about how much money/work to sink into the project. Also thinking about what the cost would be for a stronger system. I have all other tech needed - projector, gaming pc, etc. So I am really just deciding on things like spending on the enclosure, screen size, etc.

We want a community of folks interested in golf simulators and indoor golf. We don't want a spammy marketing oriented site. Heavy self-promotion of your business or other sites will result in a ban.

If indoor golf is new to you, here is what to expect. You will reserve a simulator by the hour, typically it takes 1 hour to play 18 holes per person. If you are here to enjoy a leisurely round, warm up beforehand, or do not want to rush, we recommend adding an additional hour. Range has clubs available to rent but we highly recommend bringing your own clubs with you to get the most out of your experience.

Our simulators are extremely accurate, thus when you hit your clubs they will react the same in our facility as they would on a real golf course. Having this type of simulation allows you to work on your golf game just as you would outdoors with the added bonus of receiving statistics and data with every hit you make.

The simulator features one bay connected to an OptiShot 2 Simulator System. This state-of-the-art simulator gives instantaneous feedback on your swing using 16 precisely-tuned, high-speed 48MHz infrared sensors. The simulator is compatible for both right-handed and left-handed golfers. Practice and driving range options are available for golfers that would like to work on their game.

NOTE: Real golf balls are not permitted in this space. If you are found to be using real golf balls during your reservation, you will be asked to leave and will not be provided a refund.

Rentals are available to Campus Recreation members only at an hourly rate of $10. Golf Simulator reservations can be made online.

Notify the Welcome Desk that you have a reservation for the golf simulator studio and have your receipt ready. The Operations Supervisor on staff will then escort you to the studio and log into the system for you.

Amazon SES includes a mailbox simulator that you can use to test how your application handles different email sending scenarios. For billing purposes, emails that you send to the Amazon SES mailbox simulator are the same as any other email you send using Amazon SES. In other words, we bill you the same amount for messages that you send to the mailbox simulator as for those that you send to regular recipients.

The mailbox simulator supports labeling, which enables you to send emails to the same mailbox simulator address in multiple ways, or to see how your application handles Variable Envelope Return Path (VERP). For example, you can send an email to bounce+label1@simulator.amazonses.com and bounce+label2@simulator.amazonses.com to see if your application can match a bounce message with the email address that caused the bounce.

When you send an email to a mailbox simulator address, you must send it through Amazon SES, by using the AWS CLI, an AWS SDK, the Amazon SES console, the Amazon SES SMTP interface, or the Amazon SES API. The mailbox simulator doesn't respond to emails that it receives from external sources.

The Amazon SES mailbox simulator doesn't include an address for testing Reject events. However, you can test Reject events by using a European Institute for Computer Antivirus Research (EICAR) test file. This file is an industry-standard method of testing antivirus software in a safe manner. To create an EICAR test file, paste the following text into a file:

Even I was getting the same error. Issue in my case was I was working on xcode 7.3 and its simulator was open, later on I closed xcode 7 and opened xcode 8 and tried running app and got the above error.

I guess its happening because of both the simulator were open, it got solved when I closed my older simulator. Seem to be some problem while xcode 8 was trying to establish connection with simulator.

The Same issue I have faced when I have two Xcode version, but the issue was when we are opening the two instances of simulator we will get the same error, the best way to solve this issue is run command

I had a similar issue, despite not launching a second instance of the simulator, due to using SimPholders and having the XCode Command Line Tools set to a different version of XCode. To resolve this, open up XCode preferences, and under the Locations tab ensure that the Command Line Tools version matches what version of XCode you're currently working in.

I had similar issue, what I did is I closed the simulator and all the Xcode and I went to the terminal and typed to see any Xcode application running then I killed it. I had one Xcode running in the background.

I just had this issue when attempting to debug an iOS application from Xamarin, which uses Xcode to run apps in the simulator. I was initially targeting a 9.7" iPad Pro, attempted to change the simulated device to an iPad Air 2 (still on iOS 10), but the simulator didn't respond. After quitting and relaunching the simulator it appeared to load okay, so I changed back to the previous device - not sure whether changing devices actually did anything but I haven't seen the error message in the few times I've run my app since. ff782bc1db
