"The Show" is the debut single by the Australian singer/songwriter Lenka, produced by Stuart Brawley. It was released on 6 September 2008. The song is on her first album, Lenka, released in October 2008. It was promoted as an iTunes Free Single of the Week.

The music video has Lenka sitting on a bench in a park singing her song and picking petals from a flower. She then flies to the next scene, where she is riding a bus and looking at the other people, including an old lady and a man who she notices is staring at her. She then flies to a photo shop, where she looks at a picture with her friends. There is also a scene in which she plays tennis without ever hitting the ball. The next scene is when she is riding a bicycle with grocery items. While she is riding the bike, she notices that people are dancing while she sings the second verse. Then she flies to a concert, where she sings the chorus and flies off to a restaurant, where she and the man from the bus are eating. The man notices that Lenka's food was sliced by an unseen object. She then goes to her house, in which her toothbrush brushes her teeth without her holding it, and she slowly goes to bed. She finishes by watching the TV (where everyone is singing her song along with her) and turning out the lights.

It was used as the soundtrack for a 2008 Old Navy commercial, as an Ugly Betty season 3 2008 promo, in the 2008 film Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging, for the 2009 spring campaign of the Polish TV station TVN, in a 2009 commercial for the Malaysian telecommunications company TM, and in a 2010 commercial for the French insurance company GMF. Samples from the song were used in DFS sofa commercials in the UK. The song was covered by Kerris Dorsey in the 2011 movie Moneyball (set in 2002) and appears on its soundtrack. In addition, it was featured in the Korean television show My Love from the Star.In 2019, Japanese group Momoiro Cover Z covered the song with some new and original lyrics.[1]

I found a very simple solution. Open the iTunes Store, press search at the bottom and search for the song you want to redownload. Then purchase it again, and a little pop up will appear saying you already own the song and you can download it again for free. Hope this helped

The same exact thing is happening to me and I'm so aggravated by it. I removed the album from my downloads and phone because I thought it gave my phone a virus for some reason. The album isn't in my downloads or purchases but when I search the album it says purchased and I can't do anything further than that.

This is an even worse issue, now. Apple simply does not care whether itunes is usable or not, just subscribe to their sub-par music service, give them your money and shut up. I too, have given up. I will never buy another song or movie from itunes as long as I live. If I didn't have so much invested in Apple software, i would switch to Windows.

Go to your account in iTunes. Find the iTunes in the Cloud section under your Apple ID Summary section. Find Hidden Purchases: Unhide any hidden, redownloadable Purchases and click Manage. The next page will show all your hidden albums you didn't intend hiding. ***! Click the "unhide" button and voila! You can then go back to Purchases not on my device and click the cloud arrow next to the previously "hidden" album. Who is the sadistic programmer at Apple configured this confounding puzzle and why?

Solution posted just above your own in the thread: Re: Song shows as "Purchased" in iTunes and won't let me re-download it, but it doesn't show up in my Purchased list. I want the song back, don't mind re-downloading, but it won't let me

Same problem here. What I did to get my 2 albums that mistakenly deleted. It said purchased but I couldn't re download. So I went on my laptop. Went into iTunes. I clicked on "Store". Then on the right side of screen clicked on "Account". Then you log in. Scroll down a bit. Can remember exactly what it said but you can see where it says to manage unhide purchases or something like that. Click on "Manage". Then I saw the 2 albums the I previously couldn't download. Underneath the each album was a button to "Unhide". I clicked both albums. Then shortly after doing so. I looked on iTunes Store on my iPhone under purchases and there they were. I re downloaded and I was happy. Good Day, Sir.

It took me hours but it appears they have separated the viewing from the downloading I guess. When you go into iTunes if you will click the little dots on the bottom right and there go to purchased. I FINALLY found the download symbol. I can once again enjoy my music without being pursued to buy their monthly service. Just about pushed me to Samsung for a minute there. Hope this helps!!

See Hide and unhide iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store purchases - Apple Support to unhide any currently hidden past purchases from the iTunes Store and Redownload music, movies, TV shows, apps, and books from the iTunes Store, iBooks Store, and App Store - Apple Support to download them.

Go to the Account menu and select View My Account; look for the iTunes in the Cloud section and the Hidden Purchases (Unhide any hidden, redownloadable purchases) category, click the Manage link there. On the next page, hidden albums and songs will be shown with an Unhide button on each.

I had the same problem but figured out a way around it and it worked for me. I searched for the specific song then I added the song to my wish list. Then in my wish list it had a button for the purchase price. I tapped on it. It asked if I wanted to pay for it. I said yes, it asked for my finger print or if you don't have that set up, it'll be your Apple ID password, then as it began to download a message box popped up that said to download for free tap here, (since I had already purchased it prior, of course) I tapped it, and it downloaded without additional charge.

Don't worry - it's quick and painless! Just click below, and once you're logged in we'll bring you right back here and post your question. We'll remember what you've already typed in so you won't have to do it again.

I have a number of recordings that I own, and I want the song names to be names that I choose when I import them into my private Spotify playlist. E.g., shorter or more meaningful names. So I have renamed those files in Windows 10.

When I look at Spotify Local Files on Windows 10, the song names are not the same as the file names I've given them. I've tried changing the Windows file metadata (Properties > Title) and Spotify still won't show the name I've chosen. I've tried closing and re-opening the Spotify app. It still shows the wrong song name.

Kaworu, you're the best! I never even saw that menu! Exiting twice didn't change it, but using exit combined with unselecting and re-adding the file folder worked. I looked everywhere and couldn't find this answer, so thanks very much!

Thanks for joining the thread!

Have you tried toggling your mobile Local Files off and back on again? If that doesn't help - as @kaworu_bloodpaw has suggested - you can try syncing your data by logging out of the app and then back in twice in a row.

For additional tips on how to manage your local files on desktop and Android - take a look at this FAQ page.

For iOS - check out this one instead.

Keep us posted on how things go! We'll be on the lookout

In this case, as a last resort, it would be best to try and transfer the file itself physically on your phone and see how things go!

Fingers crossed it all works out!

Since the show debuted in 2007, Barenaked Ladies could be heard in the opening credits. The theme song of the hit CBS series was created and recorded by BNL specifically for the show. And the same track will play again when season 7 of the Emmy-winning series returns tonight (Thursday, Sept. 26) at 8 p.m. ET.

Ed Robertson and Tyler Stewart told CBSNews.com that they really feel like a part of the show, particularly with the show's creators. "They've been so great with us, too -- Chuck and Bill. First of all, Chuck Lorre is a great musician, too, and Bill Prady has been probably involved in all the sitcoms I ever liked."

Stewart added, "Everybody on the show -- all the actors and the crew, the writers and stuff -- they've been really kind to us. We visited the set a few times. We've played a couple of their parties, but they're having such a great time. I guess a massive mega-hit TV show will have everyone having a great time. It's just great energy to be around and super to be involved."

The lineup will include performances by 2023 Gershwin Prize honoree Joni Mitchell, 2020 Gershwin Prize honoree Garth Brooks, Brandi Carlile, Annie Lennox, Metallica, Maren Morris, Billy Porter, Charlie Puth and Jacob Lusk of Gabriels, along with appearances by John and Taupin. Porter will host the television event. The concert is by invitation only.

Taupin will also appear at the Library of Congress on Thursday, March 21, at 7 p.m. ET as part of the Live! at the Library series in conversation with Librarian of Congress Carla Hayden. The event is open to the public. Register for tickets here.

Established in 2007, the prize honors living musical artists whose contributions in the field of popular song exemplify the standard of excellence associated with George and Ira Gershwin. Criteria for selection include: artistic merit; influence in promoting music as a vehicle of cultural understanding; impact and achievement in entertaining and informing audiences; and inspiring new generations of musicians. 152ee80cbc
