The third edition of Shared Parking is a landmark publication and the sole source for estimating, planning and implementing parking across the most diversified use cases for mixed use development.

First released in 1983 with a second edition printed in 2005, Shared Parking has been an industry-standard book that highlights recommended parking allocations for planners and developers.

The book provides a fundamental grounding in technical guidelines to assist developers of all types in considering the best parking allocations for their development.

Shared Parking comes in two versions. One version is the book by itself - available in print or as an eBook. The other is a printed book that also includes a separate digital Excel calculation tool, which helps developers determine exactly how much parking they need for a wide variety of project types and variables.

The book was written with the support of the NPA Parking Consultants Council (PCC), led by Jerry Marcus, principal, the Parking Advisory Group LLC, and Mary Smith, PE, principal and senior vice president, Walker Consultants, as the lead author. More than 20 engineers, planners and consultants across parking and transportation contributed to the project.

Map for guidance only. Always obey posted parking signs and pavement markings. Parking rules are strictly enforced. Never park in a manner which obstructs traffic. Never park on a sidewalk, in front of a driveway or alley, within an intersection, within 10 feet of a hydrant, on a crosswalk, within 15 feet of a corner or stop sign, along the side of another vehicle, upon any bridge, or any place where official signs or curb painting so prohibit. Always park in marked spaces when they are clearly present. No vehicle may be parked on a public street or public parking lot for more than 72 hours.

On two separate flights from a GA parking space, one on the CRJ550, one on the CRJ700, I got everything started up and ready to taxi, and could not release the parking brake. I tried using the mouse on the parking brake pedestal control, changing it did not change the PARKING BRAKE message on the right EICAS display, nor did the default key binding of Ctrl-NumDel. Note that this key binding not only did not reset the parking brake message, it didn't change the control position on the pedestal as expected.

Third flight I was able to release the brake and taxi, but couldn't take off because MSFS turned my taxiway at KDEN into a vertical wall (which is *not* your problem). However, after loading a new flight, I was unable to release the parking brake once more.

Hello, I am having the same issue from time to time and I am trying to understand and to find steps to reproduce. 5mn ago, parking brakes released successfully but could never put them back on after push back.

Investigating in order to find reproduceable steps.

I've been having problems setting the parking brake. It is intermittent, but when the issue occurs, whether I use the mouse, my keybinding, or my joystick button binding, I see it briefly show set in the MFD but then it releases. Watching the animation, it pulls up, but goes right back down instead of twisting. It would appear that it is tangled up with some other logic and getting in a bad state. I also had the problem where it wouldn't set, but that was because I was doing an abbreviated start to test something else and forgot to pull the chocks.

flying A319 on X-plane 11.55. Cannot get the parking brake to release. The brake handle moves in the cockpit and Park BRK light on the ECAM goes out but the brake remains on. I have moving the plane with both Better Push Back and the X-Plane Ground Handling screen. Neither work. The brake function works on all of my other aircraft.

Somehow both of my Toliss A319 and A321 are having issues with Better Pushback starting today; the tug guy simply refusing to connect to my plane.

I've noticed he said "Ready to connect; SET parking brake" despite the parking brake has not yet been released.

And yes, I've already tried TURNING OFF the CHOCKS from the ISCS prior to the pushback; tried resetting the pushback; manually pressing the brakes, etc.. to see if there's any changes but still nothing..

I am aware this was an issue in the previous version 1.6.2; didn't expect to get it again in the latest one

Yes, the parking brake position was ON, accumulator charged, chocks/ext power removed, and all that (nothing abnormal basically, was doing my normal procedures as usual); I did try the parking brake ON and OFF to see if there's any reactions.

First I thought it was just an issue with my A321; then tested the A319 brought the same thing.

Personally given the amount of reported issues with 4.4.0 I would avoid that one at the moment (there's a 4.4.1 available but its only a RC so probably still has its own bugs). I'd go with 4.3.4 still at the moment. iirc that version doesn't have the problem with the parking and unless you are set on using the prusa connect stuff then I'd give 4.4.x time to mature a bit before using it. There's rather a lot of changes in 4.4.0

I agree with you, this is obviously a bug and parking is very broken in 15. I am either going to try and upgrade to 16 or build a new machine with 16 and migrate over. It would be great to have a real supported ptach or fix for this.

It has been an ongoing issue for me since at least 2017 so probably Freepbx 13, 14, and 15 so I have kinda given up on it working that way again. Direct parking works well enough for me most of the time. I know some people make a visual parking to use with an XML button. I do not have any up to date code to try though. 2351a5e196
