yeah, i have no idea why at bare minimum there isn't a slider for the chase music yet, it seems silly. if they're not going to tone it down themselves they should let us do it for them. i wonder if it's similar to the fov slider and that they "think it will give an advantage". shrug.

Maybe it's just me, but while I enjoy chase music by itself, I'm not a fan of it actually being used in chases. When I'm trying to track somebody, it can become pretty difficult sometimes with the music blaring. At least, the track that plays for most killers. I don't like Docs, but at least it's more subdued, and thus, easier to handle. So, is there a reason why we can't turn it off?

What I'm referring to though, is I think all chase music needs to be as loud as Doctor's. Where its loud enough a survivor can make a play, but quiet enough that a good focused killer can hear you and tap dat ass.

They would never just let someone turn off the chase music. It's part of the way the game is balanced. If they ever did let you turn off chase music they would also lower volume of footsteps, breathing, grass movement, etc. to compensate.

If they were to get rid of the chase music, then like the other guy said. They would have to make up for it with lower breathing & footsteps to keep it balanced. We can't keep turning the game even more in the killer's favor when it's already killer-sided & before anyone flips out, this game is supposed to be killer-sided. No fun easily escaping all the time. Another thing is, killers, complain a lot more than survivors do imo & the creators/devs defend the killers. Look at any post about dbd & you will see constant players complaining about survivors in the comments. Survivors complain as well, not saying they don't. Killer mains complain a lot though.

Honestly I wouldn't mind them lowering general sounds, even some of the injured sounds are way too loud. Chase music combined with other aspects makes it to where you HAVE to see the survivor to find them. My last killer match was exactly like that. As soon as I was in chase I couldn't hear ANYTHING except the music. Even when not in chase the music was loud enough that when I DID hear an injured survivor, I couldn't find them by sound. There were other issues going on as well. Lunging attacks either lagged just long enough for a miss or actually hit well after the survivor was out of range, screen went completely bonkers to where I had to NOT touch the controller on 3 occasions just to regain control of my character. Honestly it was a crazy mess.

As someone who used to religiously main doctor, I have acquired a liking to the more repetitive chase music. Skull Merchants is ok, it just gets headache inducing after a few games. I like most if not all of the chase music from the release of Twins to now.

Also tierlist placement aside, the thing about chase music to me is that it's supposed to increase the tension of the chase itself, you're not suppose to jam out to it nor is it supposed to sound like a song you'd listen to outside the game. That's why chase music that loops repeatedly like (SM, Dredge, Myers, Hag, Doctor, Sadako, Ghostface and Pinhead) or almost repeatedly (Nurse, Pyramid Head, Hillbilly, Spirit, Blight, Twins, Trickster, Nemesis, Knight, Artist and maybe also Clown) fits the chase aspect more in that regard.

Wesker's music is not chase music, it's boss music that sounds like you're suppose to fight someone rather than run from. Legion's chase music is as mentioned before, a song one would probably jam out to.

Which i personally think is too long for a chase track in-game since it constantly fades in and out between different timestamps of the track because Survivors constantly breaks and re-enters chase with Deathslinger.

I was about to write a tierlist but i ended up just to write what I hear. For me nemesis is the boss music but I like it. And Wesker could be from a movie. Wesker chase feels for me like an orchestra is chasing me. Similar with Legion at begin but meanwhile i like it.

This petition is being made to show the creators of Dead By Daylight (Behaviour Interactive) that we want more love for the legendary skin for Legion that transforms them into Hunk. By signing this prediction we are showing that this is not just a few poeple wanting this but rather a larage part of the community, both Resident Evil fans and Dead By Daylight players that we would love Hunk to not only have his own voice lines and perhaps even unique chase music tied to the skin.

Huntress has a legendary skin called Baba Yaga which transforms her into a new character including animations, new voice lines, and an entirely new lullaby. The Hunk skin currently has a different walk cycle however it is bugged and in all honestly kinda wonky, I believe that Hunk should have his own voice over and perhaps even in game voice lines much like Wesker. Hunk is also known for having some of the amazing music themes for him and would be incredible to have this as a custom chase music for him attached to the skin.

I think everyone wants to have that infamous instrumental music played on the first 6 episodes of "The Dukes of Hazzard" that was filmed in Covington, GA before moving to California. Especially the FIRST episode during the chase scenes. Well, still no luck. BUT, I came across a Waylon Jennings tune called - "Big Ball In Cowtown". It's on his 1976 'live' album. This song sounds VERY & EXTREMELY similar to the instrumental music. Once you hear this song, you'll agree. I bet this song was the influence for the instrumental music. -Dar.

The steel guitar was played by a fellow named JD Maness who also played with the country group called The Desert Rose Band. He has a very unique and signature playing style. Not sure what other musicians played in these sessions though. Tough to find much info on it. e24fc04721
