Rules

Photos must be taken in Michigan

Photographer must be the creator; no AI enhancement beyond normal editing

One submission per category per photographer

EXIF data required in the image file (date, time, camera, settings)

Photographs must have the follow in submission: location, title, description

Deep Space Objects must be identified by name

Aurora form types should be identified if applicable

Images taken within last 3 years; photographer holds sole rights

Organizers may use images for marketing; photographer retains ownership, Organizers will not sell individual copies of images.

Minimum 30 entries per category required for cash award in said category

No refunds

Photographer's mini bio required

Organizer's decisions in all matters are final and not subject for review

Submission window: 1/29/26–2/28/26

Winners announced 3/20/26

Fees: $35 per photo or $90 for all three categories
