Students of CAPP Lab collaborated with Local Community Platform team received the Prize (장려상) from the Collage of Urban Sciences and won the Grand Prize (대상) from the Dept. of Urban Administration and Policy, presenting "A Multimodal Mobility-Based Mode Choice Modeling and Simulation for Campus Accessibility". We are proud of them and excited to see what's coming next!
Delivered a lecture on "Causal Inference and Experimental Design in Urban and Transportation Research" at Dept. of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Seoul National University (Prof. Yunmi Park). Shared research experiences and discussed potentials for future urban and transportation studies.
Presented ‘Coherence of urban planning education and data science’ at a roundtable of coding education in urban planning at Korea Planning Association conference. Learned insights from participants discussing challenges, achievements, and future directions for urban data science education!

CAPP Lab and Local Community Platform team (지역동행프로그램) joined and presented three papers in the 93rd Conference of Korean Society of Transportation. Earned meaningful experience by sharing research outcomes and learned from other engaging presentations. Keep up the good work!
Invited to the Graduate School of Environment Studies at Seoul National University, and discussed a topic related to perceived accessibility and its potentials for expanding the accessibility concept from 'calculated accessibility' to 'perceived accessibility'.

Joined World Smart City Expo 2025 (Busan, Korea) and served as moderator for the International Future Infrastructure Forum (IFIF), hosted by Urban Design Institute of Korea. It was great to engage in global discussions on the new role of smart city governance.
We visited Land & Housing (LH) Corporation headquarter located in Jinju. During the visit, we learned about LH’s major initiatives and discussed collaborative opportunities related to urban development and transportation planning. Read more

He presented his research, ‘Traffic Calming Measures Versus Pedestrian Safety Facilities: Assessing Injury Severity Reduction Effects in School Zones,’ which started from his term paper in the Urban Data Science course.
