REGARDING THE HIATUS OF THE COMIC FOR A YEAR & A HALF  + PERSONAL UPDATE

Hi! For those who are still reading this comic and waiting for a new chapter, I greatly apologize for the unplanned hiatus with barely any news. OTHER APARTMENT was just a deeply personal project that I ocassionally dabble on as an experiment with my characters and testing my '''writing''', but I think around 2025 I got wrapped up in heavy real-life events and overall: Going through IB/Cambridge and then..College. Now I'm preparing for the third semester. 

To say that I was unprepared with updates was an understatement. If I had to be honest, I Fell down really hard, mentally. Many of my mindset changed, especially when it comes to posting Anything. Unnecessary amount of self-made pressure got into my head, and the draining tasks given to my undergraduate year wasn't enough as a distraction. I only had myself to bring my passion back up. That's how much my self-hatred has gotten over me in 2025. The internet, my coping mechanism for the isolation I endured in Highschool, became the additional source of my demotivation. I hated it, I could rant over and over about enshittification and misanthropy in present social medias, but this is not an appropriate place to talk about it too much....

Despite it all, in this year, I decide to not scrap OTHER APARTMENT. Not because I'm already too deep into it, but I wanted to keep the love of webcomics. I wanted to keep this going. For myself, and for those who stayed. I appreciate every single one of you. I think I learned a lot from my hiatus and might be ready to continue, no matter how weird, no matter how stupid it all gets.

Unfortunately, DOPPELGANGER'S REUNION is still in the pre-production drafts. For now, I'm focusing more on O.A. more, but I'll try to flesh out D.R. more along the way. Not only that, over the years G00gle has been getting the weirdest and worsening updates, and well, if anything happens to this site, I'll give you an update on INSTA/TUMBLR!! but remember that you can check out O.A. on comicfury too!!

Speaking of O.A.: I'm already in the process of thumbnailing chapter 8, and about to finish writing for chapter 9! Hopefully I could get ch.8 out around late September or October, or atleast the rest of this year if I get too busy with college.
