Make sure you download the official Capital One app (not a third-party clone).
Android → Google Play Store
iPhone → App Store
Look for the app by Capital One Services, LLC.
Once installed, open the app.
If you already have a Capital One account, log in using your username and password
If you're new, tap “Set Up Online Access” and follow these steps:
Your Capital One card number
Last 4 digits of your Social Security number
Your date of birth
A valid email address
You’ll be asked to create a password and verify your identity via text or email.
After logging in, Capital One will prompt you to:
Enable Face ID or fingerprint login
Set up 2-step verification
Choose if you want to stay logged in or log out after each session
These settings can be changed later in the app under “Profile” > “Security”.
