Creating work that connects memory, emotion, and shared experience.
Gosia Sobolewska is a visual artist based in Mississauga, Ontario, working across expressive painting and large-scale mural art.
As a self-taught artist guided by intuition and emotional storytelling, her work explores memory, identity, and personal reflection through layered textures and vibrant colour.
Her practice moves between canvas, surface, and public space — creating work that is both intimate and collective, personal and shared.
Alongside her studio work, she creates murals for residential, community, and cultural spaces across the Greater Toronto Area, bringing art into everyday environments and shared experiences.
Her work has been exhibited at the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Toronto and the John Paul II Polish Cultural Centre.
She is also the founder of Plotkarnia, an intergenerational art program that connects youth and families through creativity and cultural dialogue.
