Canucks Breaking
Wow, multiple trade proposals and former GM nightmares, continue reading below.
WSH-VAN (Trade Proposal)
The Canucks are looking to shed cap space and acquire a natural centerman to add behind J.T. Miller and Elias Pettersson. Allvin set the record straight and stated that anything short of the playoffs would be considered a failure, a move of this sort surely brings them closer to that goal.
While this proposal may have actually come out of a fantasy league, the idea of it is still very much intriguing. Washington Capitals' superstar centerman, Evgeny Kuznetsov openly stated he wanted out of Washington and this one believes the Canucks should be calling the GM down there with this offer.
Kuznetsov, the one who carried the Caps to a Stanley Cup a few years back, asked out of Washington. The now 31-year-old centerman still has two years on his deal carrying a $7.8M AAV. The Russian had a down year this season managing only 55 points in 81 games, in 2021-2022, he collected an impressive 78 in 79. Perhaps a change of scenery would do him some good.
Canucks on their end, move Garland, who's probably the next name to be moved out of Vancouver. Beauvilier showed great things since he was acquired in the Bo Horvat trade, he collected a career-high 40 points this season, but he could very well be the one who suffers from the Canucks' need to move out money.
Allvin would end up shedding $1.3M, adding a superstar and former cup winner to his core. While this scenario is highly unlikely, would you like to see Allvin bringing a high-profile superstar like Kuznetsov to Vancouver?
To VAN:
Evgeny Kuznetsov (2 x $7.8M)
TO WSH
Anthony Beauvilier (1 x $4.15M remaining)
Conor Garland (3 x $4.95M remaining)

CBJ-VAN (Trade Proposal)
Another trade proposal has been going around between the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Vancouver Canucks.
Patrik Allvin took everyone by surprise when he revealed to a Swedish Journal that Leo Carlsson was topping their list ahead of the draft. The rumor mill has then been about the Canucks trying to move up from their current 11th seed.
A trade proposal was drawn with the Columbus Blue Jackets who hold the 3rd selection. Given that Connor Bedard goes first, and Anaheim picks either Fantilli, Smith, or Michkov, the Canucks would then have the opportunity to select Carlsson.
McDonough showed great things at the NCAA level, but his confidence has not yet transferred to the professional level. Woo on his end, a former 2nd Round Selection, has steadily improved ever since he joined the Canucks. Vitaly Kravston was acquired late in the season by the Canucks, he'll be an RFA on July 1st, and up to this day there is still no certainty that he'll even be qualified.
Keep in mind that the Canucks would be trading up 8 ranks in order to draft one of Leo Carlsson or Adam Fantilli, instead of perhaps Dalibor Dvorsky. Picks within the top 5 are rarely once the draft order is known, mainly because of the steep price attached to it. The question that still stands up to this point is whether or not it's worth giving up McDonough, Woo, and Kravstov to move up 8 ranks.
TO VANCOUVER:
2023 1st Round Selection CBJ (3rd Overall)
TO COLUMBUS:
F Aidan McDonough
D Jett Woo
F Vitaly Kravstov
2023 1st Round Selection VAN (11th Overall)
Canucks Owner talks about the "wrong move" former GM Jim Benning passed on Tkachuk for Ouolevi.
“I think the biggest thing that surprised me is when he passed on Tkachuk,” Canucks columnist and “Aquilini whisperer” Gary Mason said on Monday’s episode of Sekeres & Price. “That probably still eats Francesco up to this day.
Canucks Daily Feed
On JT Miller: Is it time to trade Miller or still keep him?
On Allvin: What's your plan? If money is in your hands, a 3rd centre or a top 4 defencemen?
On Boeser or Garland: Who are you keeping?
They decisions are up to the GM Patrik Allvin, he needs to make this team worth it.
CanucksDailyFeed: I’m calling out to all the @nhl teams and once again, the NHL needs to change their referring or else hockey is just going to be unfair, multiple unnecessary penalties, most games would at LEAST have one fight, it’ll be really bad for the NHL if the referees continue to slack off and give unbelievable and unfair penalties. They are even doing the same thing in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The Abbotsford Canucks seek for their tying series win over the Wranglers in Game 2.

Canucks Daily Feed: Silovs might be gaining trust and a spot in the 2023-2024 roster. Clearly he has to train more and gain more and more trust by the management. If this happens, this is a great opportunity for Silovs to gain more expierence and to also backup Demko if any situation possibly happens.
