Ryan Gurevitz
My name is Ryan Gurevitz, I am the lead writer and editor of Canucks Chronicles. I started Canucks Chronicles as an outlet to publish my writing and display my passion for sports journalism while giving other young fans the chance to put their work out there as well. I have been a passionate Canucks fan my whole life, fond memories of the teams I grew up watching fueled my love for the game of hockey. As my love for the game grew, I became more interested in educating myself on how it is played and won at the professional level. I hope to one day be able to cover the inner workings of the NHL and make writing more than just a hobby of mine.
Alex Rickman
I’m Alex Rickman, and I am the head writer and head of digital content for Canucks Chronicles. I’m currently studying Communications at Capilano University, and am hoping to one day parlay the skills I learn at school and in writing for Canucks Chronicles into a career as a sportswriter. I’ve had a keen interest in sports, hockey especially, for as long as I can remember, so having a place like Canucks Chronicles to share my thoughts on the team I love is a privilege and I hope to keep sharing my thoughts and opinions with Canucks Nation for years to come.
JC Clemas
I’m JC Clemas, and I am a writer for Canucks Chronicles. I run the Instagram account nucksmemes, where I have amassed over 50 thousand followers for my content and earned the alias “Nucko.” I am in my 4th year at Ottawa’s Carleton University, where I major in Law. I hope to ignore that entirely and pursue a life in hockey media, whether that is sports writing, social media, or anything else. I have been running my Instagram for almost 7 years now and I want to do it for many more years to come.
Isaac Henry
My name is Isaac Henry and I am a seasonal writer for Canucks Chronicles. I’m currently studying marketing at McGill University and have passionately pursued sports writing on the side. As an avid fan of the Vancouver Canucks, Vancouver Whitecaps, and Manchester United, I’ve written pieces on the NHL, MLS, and Premier League including works on this site as well as my 2023 “A Snapshot in Time” series on each MLS team. I’ve additionally worked on the 604 Sports Podcast where I specialized in hockey, soccer, tennis, and local sports coverage including the Lions, Canadians, and Warriors in addition to the Whitecaps and Canucks.
