On December 20th, Charlotte Wells, a retired UNI professor, longtime member of the Forum's Coordinating Committee, and presenter of Forum programs including its very first one November 6, 2005, died after being hit by a truck while walking in downtown Cedar Falls.
Arrangements now have been made for her visitations and funeral. There will be two visitations, one at Hagarty Waychoff Grarup Funeral Service on 400 South Street in Waterloo between 4 and 7 pm on Friday 9 January, the other on Saturday 10 January between 10 and 11 am at St Stephen the Witness Catholic church at 1019 W 23rd Street in Cedar Fall.
A funeral mass for her will be held at St. Stephen the Witness on Saturday 10 January immediately following the visitation, after which we will leave in our cars for the cemetery in Waterloo where Charlotte had reserved a spot.
