Monday 1st July - Last

Thursday 4 July – CRA Time Race. Cantabs M17 must race; other crews are encouraged to race to help with crew order decisions, or just for the experience and opportunity to win. Details will be on the CRA website.

Saturday 6th July Deadline for Cantabs crew-reps to have entered crew names for ALL NIGHTS of racing into Mike's "2019 Cantabs Bumps" spreadsheet, flagging any juniors or anyone competing under rule 2.5 or with a 2.6 dispensation. By this point, crew-reps must have also reported at least one time for a piece, to help us put them in time order. The timed piece involves a standing start from the upstream (town) side of the A14 bridge to the more downstream concrete post in the Plough Reach, opposite the pub's grounds.

Monday 8th July Deadline for buying tickets for the Post-Bumps party at Cantabs on the Friday night of Bumps week is at 12 noon.

Monday 16th July Deadline for Crew Reps to pay entry fees to Treasurer, Elinor. Crew members, please ensure you have paid your entry fee to your crew rep before this date, and that your membership is up-to-date.

~Monday 8th July Crew lists viewable for all clubs. We will be able to see other club's rowers and have the opportunity to object to any who we believe are not within the bumps rules. Notify your crew rep if you see any issues. Crew reps to notify Mike of any objections by noon on Friday 12 July.

Friday 12 July – Marshals meeting – 20.00 Wesley Methodist Church, Octagon Room

Saturday 13 July – Absolute last chance to make any changes to crews, to be notified to Mike in time for him to email the bumps committe by 12.00 (noon)

Sunday 14 July – Any objections to be notified by email to the Bumps Committee by 09.00

Monday 15 July – Bumps first night (for all crews except those in divisions M1 and W1).

Friday 19th July - Last night of bumps, sees all crews racing and is rounded off for Cantabs with a party at the boathouse, with hog-roast and live music.








Monday 25 June – Entries to have been received by the Bumps Committee in accordance with the Rules – please allow time for posting to 35 Mariners Way, Cambridge, CB4 1BN

Thursday 5 July – CRA Time Race. Any club seeking to secure a position in the Bumps by entering the Time Race must declare the fact and the names of the crew concerned to the Bumps Committee.

Sunday 8 July – Full crew details to have been entered on the website.

Friday 13 July 6:30pm Tour of the Bumps course, led by Isabel Nimmo - a chance for coxes, and anyone else who is interested, to get an experienced cox's perspective on the racing line. All welcome, but please let Isabel know you will be attending (via Gill if you don't have contact details for Isabel). Will be back in good time for the Coxes meeting.
