The CANSec workshop brings together researchers and practitioners in networking and security related fields across the central area of US. The goal of this workshop is to provide a regular forum for presenting research and education activities in all areas related to networking and security, as well as promoting interactions and collaborations among scholars and students and between academia and industry.
The Fifth CANSec workshop will be hosted by University of Arkansas on April 4-5, 2014. It will be a one and a half day workshop which includes keynote speeches, presentations, and poster sessions. There will be no printed proceedings. We would like to invite researchers, engineers, educators, and students to join us in the fifth event of the series. For oral and poster presentations, please submit a one-page abstract to cansecworkshop@gmail.com using this form by March 7. Please indicate whether the submission is for oral or poster presentation. Notifications of accepted presentations will be sent out around March 21.
We are also organizing a PhD Forum for PhD students to present their research work. Each participant in the PhD Forum will perform a 5-minute oral presentation to introduce their work. To encourage participation in the PhD Forum, CANSec 2014 will prioritize student travel fund allocation to PhD Forum participants within the pool of all applicants.
