To create an interactive game with the historical and scientific truth about Cannabis by eliminating all the common disbelief and misconceptions. Providing accurate information to the young generation about cannabis, so that they do not fall into the trap of drug abuse out of curiosity.
Our main goal was not to preach that "cannabis is bad" but provide facts which are both scientific and non-judgemental about cannabis usage.
There is a lack of awareness even among medical specialists regarding cannabis usage. For example Kruger et. al. (2021) informs that "Unfortunately, health care providers generally report low knowledge of medical cannabis and cite this lack of knowledge as a barrier to making patient recommendations". There is not only lack of information among specialists, but also misinformation. For example, Shi et. al. (2019) presents a study about misinformation about cannabis in social media.
The right information at the right time can prevent teenagers to avoid the harmful effect of cannabis. Prevention is better than cure. Adolescents and patients can be educated and motivated through gamification of the ultimate truth about cannabis, which can help them stick to therapy and improve compliance.
Creating a playable prototype of the game based on the information about cannabis’ historical and scientific facts and figures, advantages, disadvantages, misconceptions to raise awareness especially among the adolescents, and a one-stop platform to get help from volunteers 24/7 those who are going through drug abuse and want to quit drugs.
