The End of Candy's Slam Dunk

Candy’s Slam Dunk, a fast-growing VRChat community known for its high-energy performances and unique glamrock style, has officially been placed on hold following a copyright conflict involving creator GreatFoxYT.

According to a statement released by Fox, the issue began after concerns were raised regarding the usage permissions of certain avatar models used within the project. The original creator of the assets, LazarArck, reportedly enforces a strict policy requiring those avatars to remain private and not publicly distributed.

Fox acknowledged that the avatars had been made public for community use within Candy’s Slam Dunk — a decision that ultimately violated the original usage agreement.

Upon discovering this, LazarArck demanded the removal of all content connected to the project that included the disputed assets. This reportedly included:

Public avatars
Related world assets
Promotional materials
The Candy’s Slam Dunk commercial video

As a result, Candy’s Slam Dunk has been temporarily shut down, with GreatFox stating that he is no longer able to uphold the group in its current state.
