NOTES: One-camera pro-shot. As circulated, this video consists of approximately an hour of excerpts, although the way the audio can sometimes be heard for another second or two after the video has moved on to another section suggests that perhaps more was shot and this is an edited version. A good record of Joslyn's Witch, with a complete Witch's rap, a complete "Stay with Me," and a nearly complete "Last Midnight." Still new to the cast, Dick Cavett does not know all of his lines yet.

During Act 1 there are a few interruptions of recording and one drop out when ushers got close and made the recorder antsy, but they are brief and do not take away from the experience. First drop out occurs right at the end of "Act 1 Prologue" and lasts for only a minute. Second drop out occurs right after "Maybe They're Magic" and occurs for just a moment. The third drop out occurs just before the princes arrive on stage for "Agony" and resumes early in the song. The final drop out occurs midway through "On the Steps of the Palace" and resumes at the end of the song. Act 2 has one quick drop out early on after the Baker goes to the palace to report the giant. I would give this recording an A- at bare minimum.
