NOTES: One of the best of the Cabaret videos from this era. Incredibly there is virtually no spotlight wash to speak of and there lots of great close-ups. Recorded from the main floor (table 319 to be precise) which is also unusual for these. Starts with 11 minutes of Jon Peterson as Emcee from the National Tour (different performance than the 2000-08-26 video). The BW video is missing the first minute or so of WIlkommen and the curtain call is missing. Also has 30 minutes of other musical clips after, the first being another Michael C Hall performance.

NOTES: A totally different Cabaret then previous ones. Wonderful production filled with very "raw" emotion. This production does contain nudity. Crystal clear picture and sound, Fantastic performances. A+

NOTES: This is a very nice capture with just a couple very quick dropouts. There is also one head that leans in occasionally, but generally not noticeable. There is very little washout except in some wider shots. The sound is excellent. Includes curtain call and playbill scans.

NOTES: A fantastic performance from a great cast. Randy makes a wonderful Emcee and had the crowd eating out of his hand. Andrea is a beautiful show stopper. Decent capture of the tour from late last spring, this was recorded on old equipment so the capture is cropped, has some washout, and not as stable as I would ultimately like. The sound is near perfect, synced with Zoom H2. Includes curtain call.
