Ladder Rules

1. Default match is one set, with a tie break at 6 all. By prior mutual agreement long sets, or best of three sets may also be played.

2. Only the initial challenge, and the final results should be posted on the WhatsApp groups, any further messages about when/how people arrange to actually play should be made privately, as no one else will be interested...

For this reason, please add your full name to all posts as people may well not have your phone number in their contacts list.

3. Anyone is allowed to challenge anyone who is above them.

4. The winner of a challenge will take the place of the loser. The loser (and everyone below them), will then be moved down one place. (Note: the place is that at the time of the match, not at the time of the challenge).

5. Anyone challenged must respond to their challenger (privately) within 48 hours, otherwise the challenger may claim the match.

6. Matches should be played within two weeks of the challenge, unless a delay is accepted by the challenger. Otherwise the match will be conceded.

7. Only two unplayed challenges can be in place, for any one person at a time.

8. The same person can't be challenged again, by the same challenger, for a period of three weeks (unless the person being challenged has already privately agreed to that).

9. Any player (other than the leader), not playing a match in a four week period will be moved down by one place.

10. All communications and matches to be made/played in a friendly and respectful manner.

11. Any issues/complaints please message me (Dinny) privately. My decisions will be final. I reserve the right to remove people from the ladders, in the unlikely event that I deem that necessary.
