Smokiness lingering around a fireplace. Depth of night depicted with smoked tea leaves, vanilla beans and cardamom. Lapsangsog unveils an imagery of spaces filled with uniqueness and character. Variations of the middle note are unleashed with subtle yet sharp scent of roses, suede accord, and then creaminess of sandalwood to reveal dramatic sensuality, seeping through with time.

One of the first programmers to feature the song was Bernhard Hiller, head of music at CHR station 104.6 RTL in Berlin. He recalled, "We started playing Rescue Me because they're a local band and we thought it would suit our format. But our research showed that it wasn't going down well with our audience. At first we couldn't believe it, but by the time it should have been all but dead, it started to take off in a big way." Hiller suggested that the fact that the band and the station cooperated on promotional activities on the record may have played a major role in its eventual success. He stated that "Now it's one of our very best-testing records."[4]

"Candles" is a song recorded by American pop punk band Hey Monday. The song was first included on the group's debut album, Hold On Tight (2008). While working on their scrapped second studio album, the band re-recorded the song; this new version was released on February 8, 2011 as the Candles EP, along with an acoustic demo of the song and a previously-unreleased song called "The One That Got Away".[1] A music video for the song debuted March 9, 2011 on Just Jared.[2] "Candles" was the last single released by the group before they went on hiatus for Cassadee Pope to pursue her solo career.

The cast of Glee covered the song in their second season episode, "Original Song". In the episode, Blaine Anderson (Darren Criss) and Kurt Hummel (Chris Colfer) performed "Candles" as a duet as part of The Warblers' setlist for Regionals. As with almost every song performed on the show, the Glee cover was released as a digital single, on March 15, 2011. It is also included on the soundtrack album Glee: The Music Presents the Warblers. The Glee version proved to be more commercially successful than the original, charting in Australia, Canada, The United Kingdom, and The United States.

This also works brilliantly in same-sex ceremonies. There is no gender-specific role. It's about togetherness. One side lights each of their candles and passes that candle to the wedding couple. Their individual flames become one flame. It's symbolic. It's beautiful. It's a tear-jerker. This is why choosing the right song for this part of the wedding ceremony is key.

Unity candles are a big business for candle companies. They come in all sorts of sizes and colors. For the do-it-yourself bride and groom, they can buy a standard candle. Then, the candle can be decorated in your wedding colors with ribbon, beads, and whatever suits your fancy. Unity candles can be purchased as a single candle or in a candelabra setting with a single tapered candle on each side of the official unity candle.

This is the lyric to my newest song, finished a couple of weeks ago and performed on stage three times now. The third time I managed to sing it without getting choked up. I suspect that I will write more verses to this one and switch them out on different occasions, but this is the song as I now intend to record it. It is inspired by real experiences, the first verse in Bosnia and the second in Guatemala City. The end of the first verse refers to the Pontamina Interfaith Choir of Sarajevo. I got to visit their choir practice when I was there, and I was deeply moved by the important and courageous thing they are doing.

All Too Well: This candle smells like your favorite song All Too Well, a blend of sweet disposition, getting lost in translation and remembering it all too well. This candle is our Flannel Musk scent, a soft, warm blend of bergamot, mahogany and musk, with notes of lavender and patchouli. The perfect candle to relive the heartbreak and belt out those lyrics; So casually cruel in the name of being honest.

Anti-Hero: This candle smells like you're the problem. Inspired by Taylor Swift's Anti-Hero hit song on her Midnights album. Pink Sands scent: A fresh aroma of citrus fruits, succulents and sweet watery notes interlace with a floral bouquet of aromatic spices, fresh cut flowers and crisp green notes.

Lavender Haze: This candle is a unique blend of meeting at midnight, staring and the ceiling, and being caught in a lavender haze. This candle is a blend of lavender flowers, vanilla bean, soft florals, and warm musk.

Champagne Problems: This candle is so reminiscent of Taylor and all her champagne problems. It is a unique blend of booking the night train, making a lovely bride, and not remembering all my champagne problems. This candle is our Champagne scent, an invigorating aroma that combines bubbly champagne with notes of berries and citrusy tangerine to produce a fragrance that is refreshing and refined.

Cruel Summer: Our Cruel Summer candle is a unique blend of fever dreams, being drunk in the back of the bar and no rules in breakable heaven. This candle smells just like summer; a blend of juicy lime, fresh mint leaves intertwined with eucalyptus, honeysuckle and rum.

Karma: Our Karma candle is a unique blend of spider boys, breeze in your hair on the weekend, and vibin' like that. Cause karma is your boyfriend. This candle is a strong blend of rich woods and whiskey notes mixed with cedarwood and top notes of patchouli to bring together this cozy, but bold, and rugged fragrance.

We've been purchasing candles from Corda for over a year now, and we love them! As wedding planners, the Sweeter than Wine candle is perfect for our new and prospective clients, but on a personal note, I have a fondness for Marked by Love and Lauds. With so many health concerns these days, it's so nice to find a Catholic-inspired, natural coconut wax candles made with essential oils, instead of worrying about any issues with soy or paraffin waxes and strong chemical perfumes. Can't wait to see what new scents are on the horizon for the coming years.

I purchased the Sweeter Than Wine candle last week and could not be more pleased! Id describe it as a sweet + 'cozy' scent that's not overpowering. I always get a little nervous about purchasing candles online but was definitely glad I decided to go for it.

My godmother passed away almost 15 years ago, and she was the holiest woman I have ever known. I associate the smell of her house with how I imagine heaven smells, and this candle is the closest I have come to smelling it again - it completely surprised me! These candles are such high quality and I'm tempted to purchase them all. Thank you, Corda!

Updated Format! Beginning in November of 2016, we changed the way we formatted our PowerPoint files. The font is larger and the staff lines are bolder, making the songs easier to read from a greater distance, including smaller screens/monitors in the rear of the sanctuary.

Our Love Song candle is the ultimate blend of fruit and floral. It starts with top notes of apple, luscious peach, and ripe grapefruit that give way to beautiful middle notes of cherry blossom and hydrangea. The vanilla and hint of powder in the base balance the sweetness of the fragrance.

About "Little Candle"

"Little Candle" was originally written for a presentation to children in a public library. I wanted to perform a song that represents light and gratitude and crosses all cultures, religions and spiritual understandings - Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, and Ancient and Indigenous cultures. During the dark time of year (winter) in the Northern Hemisphere, there are celebrations of light to honour the magnificent power, and the new life it brings. These celebrations come with Christmas, Hanukkah, Ramadan, Bodhi Day, Shabe-Yalda, Solstice and many others. With many of these celebrations and ceremonies there is the lighting of a candle, or candles. 2351a5e196
