Candied Soul Body Bar was established in 2019. The idea to become a PMUA (Permanent Makeup Artist) was birthed out of a need. Simply put, I needed brows :)

I know what it feels like to be "brow bald" and while our situations are not life-threatening, it can be a big deal. The soul behind the Candie truly understands the struggle, hope, and desire centered around brows.

For an increasing number of women and men hair loss is caused by medication and physical non reversable physical diseases, for example, alopecia, lupus, and chemo/radiation therapy to name a few. These candied souls are faced with the chance to never naturally grow their brows back. And, I am sure you see that there is a great need and I am honored to be able to offer them a semblance of normalcy at least when they look in the mirror.

I take what I do seriously. I traveled to Atlanta, GA to take a class on microblading and the hyaluron pen permanent makeup practices. Prior to finding itsthebrowsforme.com I purchased books on the many variations of brow styles. I learned that this was just the beginning and there were so many avenues I could take, so many people I could help.

My specialty is natural brows. This means that I will not provide any trending variations of brow styles on my clients. In some cases, I come across individuals who may have very little to no brow hairs, and in that case we work together to create the perfect frame for their facial features. In short, the clients that I want to attract are those who feel like brows are a necessary accessory to their face, yes, we can live long happy lives without them, but like I said before, for some of us having brows to frame our faces is a big deal and it makes us feel good about ourselves. And there's nothing wrong with a little bit of candy to sweeten the pallet of our lives and how we feel about ourselves.
