Ronit was one of the winners of Best Posters under the "CAR-T category" at the SACT (Series On Advancements in Cell Therapy) at the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), envisioned as one of the largest International Cell Therapy Meetings in the Asia-Pacific Region.
His poster, "Rational CAR Design and Screening of Epigenetic Modulators to Enhance the Efficacy and Fitness of CAR-T Cells", showcased an epigenetic approach to optimising CAR-T therapy for improved outcomes in hard-to-treat cancers.
Lakshmi received a special mention prize for presenting her work on modelling H4 mutations in Schizosaccharomyces pombe at the National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi.
