Meetings:
Our monthly meetings are held at the Weston Creek Labor Club, at 4 Teesdale Place, Stirling, ACT.
We meet on the second Thursday of every month, from 11.30am (for a 11.45am start) and a 1.15pm finish-- followed by lunch at the club, for those who wish to stay on.
Social Events:
On the last Friday of every month, we organise lunch out at a range of different venues across Canberra.
Occasionally, we organise additional outings throughout the year, such as visits to The National Botanic Gardens, The National Arboretum, etc.
We also set up a stall at the annual Senior's Exhibition, and other community-based health and wellness expos.
Each year we celebrate both Christmas, and Christmas in July with great fanfare.
Newsletter:
At the end of each month, we publish a Newsletter comprising of contributions made by our members, meeting summaries, and other articles of interest.
You can access past and current editions via the 'Newsletter' tab at the top of the page.
Fees:
We have an annual membership fee of $20.00, to cover administration costs, and ask for a gold coin donation at our monthly Thursday meetings.
We also raise money through occasional raffles.
