THE GRAND UNION CANAL (Part 14): Braunston Junction to Norton Junction
Another section of the Grand Union Canal walked. We continue from where we finished in part 13 at Braunston Junction where the Grand Union meets with the northern section of the Oxford Canal. We continue along, up the Braunston Locks and across the hills where the Braunston Tunnel passes, to rejoin the canal and pass the outskirts of Daventry before ending this section at Norton Junction, where the Grand Union meets the Leicester Line of the Grand Union Canal
THE GRAND UNION CANAL (Part 15): Norton Junction to Weedon Bec
Part 15 of my walk along the towpath of the Grand Union Canal, we begin at Norton Junction, where the Grand Union meets the Leicester Line of the Grand Union Canal, this is where we finished in part 14. I continue along the towpath, down the Whilton Locks and make my way to the village of Weedon Bec. This canal is sandwiched between the M1 Motorway and the West Coast Railway Mainline
