The Dudley No 1 Canal is a short section of canal that links The Dudley Tunnel Branch canal and the Dudley No 2 canal to the Stourbridge Canal. There is a lot to see on this short canal, including The Waterfront, Merry Hill Shopping Centre and the Delph locks known locally as the Nine Locks. We start the video at Parkhead Junction where I finished my Dudley No 2 canal video and before heading towards the Nine Locks, we take a short walk up the three Parkhead Locks and under the covered up Parkhead Viaduct to have a look at The Dudley Tunnel southern portal. Then its back to Parkhead Junction to start the walk along the towpath of the Dudley No 1, passing through the site of the old Round Oak Steel Works and passing some old railway bridge remains then on to the waterfront, before passing alongside the Merry Hill centre and the down the Delph Locks.
