My name is Austin White. I am a grade 5 student at Rothesay Elementary School in New Brunswick. My mother is Japanese and she has made me practice Japanese from a very young age. The hardest part of making this video was recording the voice. I had to do many takes before my mother was satisfied with my Japanese. When I finished recording, I felt relieved. As you can tell from my video, I like Lego. I play with it every chance I get. It was very exciting to make my video and I had fun. Thank you for this opportunity. I realized that studying Japanese is something I should be proud of all the time.
Why do I study Japanese? Austin White, Moncton Japanese Center
We are Vivien, Emma, Jacquelyn, Rachel, and Sasha. We are currently in Japanese 11 at Richmond Secondary School. We took Japanese to expand on our current knowledge of the language and to learn more about the culture. We decided to make a video on our mutual love of Japanese snacks and add in the humor commonly shown in comedy romance anime. As we continue to improve our Japanese language skills, we hope to find more interesting aspects of this already amazing culture.
