4. It's funny. The insane gabbling of the birds is a hoot. While waiting in line for their turn on the slingshot they hop up and down and do backflips in their fury. To me it was even funnier that their rage seemed entirely purposeless, like Iago's in Othello. I was disappointed when I later found there was a backstory: the pigs had stolen their eggs. I thought it was much better that the birds just mindlessly wanted to kill.

There's really only two ways to quit entirely. One is to somehow make your brain stop emitting dopamine in the parts that have to do with reward and anticipation. You would still enjoy Angry Birds, but you wouldn't feel a desire to open up the app and start playing. This requires either brain surgery or drugs that don't exist yet, so it's not a very practical way to go.

I have played both crush the castle and angry birds. Yeah, angy birds is a huge rip-off. Everything in life is a rip-off. Everybody copies ideas from each other. BTW, if you hate angry birds or crush the castle, just don't play it.

P.S.:Angry birds sucks.

Angry Birds is a Finnish action, puzzle, and strategy based media franchise created by Rovio Entertainment, and owned by Sega. The game series focuses on the eponymous flock of colorful angry birds who try to save their eggs from green-colored pigs. Inspired by the game Crush the Castle,[1] the game has been praised for its successful combination of fun gameplay, comical style, and low price. Its popularity led to many spin-offs; versions of Angry Birds created for PCs and video game consoles, a market for merchandise featuring its characters, Angry Birds Toons, a televised animated series, and two films; The Angry Birds Movie and its sequel The Angry Birds Movie 2. By January 2014, there had been over 2 billion downloads across all platforms, including both regular and special editions.[2][3]

On 17 November 2018, a series titled Angry Birds on the Run was released on YouTube. The series focuses on the birds being sent to the real world from a girl's phone, causing mayhem while the pigs are looking for them.

On 18 January 2020, a series titled Angry Birds Slingshot Stories was released on YouTube.[59] It features structures from the original Angry Birds game and shows the birds and pigs' life outside the levels.

There have been several toys made from Angry Birds characters.[49] The game's official website offers plush versions of the birds and pigs for sale, along with T-shirts featuring the game's logo and characters.[72] In May 2011, Mattel released an Angry Birds board game, titled "Angry Birds: Knock on Wood".[73] Over 10 million Angry Birds toys have been sold thus far.[50] Rovio opened the first official Angry Birds retail store in Helsinki on 11 November 2011 at 11:11 a.m. local time.[74] It expects to open its next retail store somewhere in China, considered the game's fastest-growing market.[74] Merchandise has been successful, with 45% of Rovio's revenues in 2012 coming from branded merchandise.[75]

On 20 March 2012, National Geographic published a paperback book titled Angry Birds Space: A Furious Flight Into The Final Frontier[81][82] shortly before the release of Angry Birds Space which became available on 22 March 2012. National Geographic also has a book titled Angry Birds Feathered Fun for learning all about birds.[83]

In June 2013, Rovio and NASA opened the Angry Birds Space Encounter theme park at the Kennedy Space Center.[100] It offers creating characters and shooting birds at pigs, as in the video game. It also opened in the Space Center Houston.

The game's popularity has spawned knock-off and parody games that utilize the same basic mechanics as Angry Birds. For example, Angry Turds features monkeys hurling feces and other objects at hunters who have stolen their babies.[133] Another game, titled Chicks'n'Vixens and released in beta form on Windows Phone devices, replaces the birds and pigs with chickens and foxes, respectively.[134] The developer of Chicks'n'Vixens intended the game as a challenge to Rovio Mobile, which stated at the time that a Windows Phone port of Angry Birds would not be ready until later in 2011.[134] The Angry Birds theme song (Balkan Blast Remix) and its characters appear in Just Dance 2016.[135]

HOWEVER I, on the other hand, am NOT willing to become one of those fans. Even with the Angry Birds franchise taking hard hits from the fanbase due to moves like removing the Classic games for "testing purposes", or Angry Birds Rio & thr Angry Birds Star Wars games discontinuing, I still cling on to my love for the fracnhise. Besides, even if Angry Birds Rio & the Angry Birds Star Wars games departing from the Angry Birds series soon, these crossovers will always have a place in my heart, ESPECIALLY Angry Birds Rio. After all, once allies with the Angry Birds, ALWAYS allies with the Angry Birds.

And on the bright side, if fans still have Angry Birds Rio & the Angry Birds Star Wars games installed in their iTunes Library and Mobile Devices, then they should be anle to still play those games. :)

The first Angry Birds Star Wars game introduced birds that looked like characters from the original trilogy: Luke, Leia, Han Solo, and several other classics. But in Angry Birds Star Wars II you get characters from the prequel movies, such as the younger Obi-Wan, Padme, and Anakin, along with dark-side characters like General Grievous, Count Dooku, and Darth Maul. There are 30 playable characters in all. Each has specialized attacks while flying through the air, such as Darth Maul's double-bladed lightsaber along with Anakin's Jedi Force powers to help bring the structures down. You can also earn achievements for each bird character, then play through each character's "reward level," adding 30 extra levels to the game.

Angry Birds Star Wars II, like its predecessor, lets you swap in birds to help you out on particularly difficult challenges. You get a mix of 12 birds (in addition to the ones that come with a level) you can use at any time, but to replenish the special birds you'll need to either earn them or pay for them with real money. So there is an in-app purchase system, but you can still play the core game without spending any money beyond purchasing the game itself.

When I first loaded up Angry Birds Star Wars II, I knew what I was getting. Angry Birds games have been around almost as long as the iPhone itself, and to be honest I wasn't terribly excited to start up a new sequel. But once I started playing I realized that even though we've been through this many times before, the game has an amazing amount of polish, the classic slingshot gameplay mechanic is still solid, and the new themed birds still manage to keep the game interesting.

One thing that has come to annoy me about Angry Birds games -- and this one in particular -- is the amount of wait time at the end of a level. It probably has to do with letting the physics of the falling structures play themselves out, but when I'm done with a level, I'd like to move on immediately, and there's always a period of waiting before your leftover birds are scored. It's not a big deal, but once you notice it, you'll always think about it.

Still, Angry Birds Star Wars II brings more of the same great gameplay, but with new birds to experiment with and the option to play as the Pork Side. While the gameplay is nothing particularly new, it's just as addictive as ever, and still great for all ages.

In the 3D animated comedy, The Angry Birds Movie, we'll finally find out why the birds are so angry. The movie takes us to an island populated entirely by happy, flightless birds - or almost entirely. In this paradise, Red (Jason Sudeikis), a bird with a temper problem, speedy Chuck (Josh Gad), and the volatile Bomb (Danny McBride) have always been outsiders. But when the island is visited by mysterious green piggies, it's up to these unlikely outcasts to figure out what the pigs are up to.

THE GOOD: Right off the bat, the Angry Birds Movie displays bright and stellar animation. The anthropomorphic designs to the simplistic characters we played on the app. They manage to still have the same eye shapes and more expression. The designs are rather pretty impressive. The animation is very frantic too yet the movie is cinematic. It's very similar to the Despicable Me films. They're movies and feel like movies, but the animation is way too silly to accept the fact it is a movie. The movie is paced very fast and does deliver a story that is much more than you would expect from a film that just looks like a blatant cash grab. It is a story that does feel like the Native Americans and Pilgrim story and does have a good lesson that you would never see in a kids film. You never see a family film with a lesson being that anger is a good thing. Like it or not you have to commend it for it. Plus the movie has a good heart behind it. The ending does is genuinely heartwarming that is earned.

There are three characters that really stand out in this film, being Red, Chuck, and Terence. With Red, he is the definition of angry. Wait did I say angry? I meant pissed. From the get go the way how Red just gets pissed off when he's pushed over the edge is hilarious. When Red gets angry he just straight up roasts you. Jason Sudeikis does a great job voicing the popular bird that started all of the phenomenon.

With Josh Gad as Chuck, he is.....Josh Gad and its perfect. He is very random, zippy, and just a straight up wild card. You don't know what he'll do or say next and most of the time it's very very funny. And Sean Penn (who is known for being a real angry dude) is doing only growls, but it's hysterical how many times they milk the joke. It doesn't go on too long, but every time he is onscreen you get a genuine hard laugh of the things they make him do. ff782bc1db
