I'm heading over to Best Buy tonight to pick up (probably) a compact digital camera. They've got an open box SD500 and P200, and I was wondering what anyone's experiences with returning open-box items was at Best Buy? I'm going to try it out tonight at home in lower light (where it'll likely be used), and if it doesn't pan out, I'd like to be able to return it. Specifically, is there a restocking fee on open-box items? I seem to remember being told no, but that was years ago...

In this case, I specifically asked that they mark the receipt as no restocking fee if returned within a given time frame. I don't remember the timeframe for the return, but they did agree to write this on my receipt.

I just purchased an open box iPod Photo from them and I made sure it was returnable just in case. I was told that open boxed purchases are treated the same as any other type of purchase and the same return policy applies.

Most of the time, with cameras anyways, people buy them without researching, find something they don't like about it, and return it after taking only a couple pictures with it. Best Buy charges them a 15% restocking fee, then takes 10% off the price as an open-box item.

Ritz Camera never charges a restocking fee so long as the software is unopened/unused, and all the packaging & contents are still in the box. They'll also give you 15 free digiprints to test out the camera to see if you like the final print quality as well. And you have 10 days for return/exchange on all digital items, and they match all local retailers for the lowest price within 30 days of purchase. Check to see if there's a local store near you, as the in-store service is much better than online service (two separate entities, technically)

What's the best camera for travel? Good travel cameras should be small, versatile, and offer good image quality. In this buying guide we've rounded-up several great cameras for travel and recommended the best.

Above $2500 cameras tend to become increasingly specialized, making it difficult to select a 'best' option. We case our eye over the options costing more than $2500 but less than $4000, to find the best all-rounder.

I have an issue with my Disc and will be returning my bundle for a new one. My question is about the digital code. Will the current one become deactivated? Just curious. Not trying to game the system, but if you get to keep the game, I'd probably get a different bundle.

I've recently purchased the My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising Blu-Ray and redeemed the digital code that came with it. After owning it for about a week, I was wondering if I can get at least a partial refund on it, since I've opened and used the code.

The next step is to assign monetary values to calculate your social media ROI. The best way to do this is to use historical data. That way you can calculate the Lifetime Value (LV) of each customer. For example, if your average LV is $100 then that means 1 in 10 people who view your content become a customer. So the value of getting a visitor to convert is $10 ($100 divided by 10).

In certain countries, consumer law includes a Right of Withdrawal, which is a right to cancel orders of digital content. This can include digital subscriptions purchased online within 14 days from the date of purchase, as long as the content hasn't been downloaded or the subscription service hasn't otherwise been accessed. The right to cancel is lost if the content is downloaded within the first 14 days from the date of purchase or upon expiry of the 14 days, whichever is sooner.

As a player, you have certain statutory warranty rights under local law in relation to purchases of digital content. These are your legal rights and may allow you to request a repair, a partial or full refund, or a replacement for a faulty EA game or other offering from the retailer that you bought it from.

Return on Investment (ROI) is easy to calculate and yet, challenging to align at an enterprise level. In this article, we explore the top 5 challenges in defining and realizing ROI for digital transformation programs.

When organizations invest their money in digitally transforming themselves, they expect ROI in two simple forms: revenue increase and cost savings. The increase in revenue can either come in the form of new markets, new customers, new products and services, or selling related products and services to existing customers. Simply put, the sales terms used to refer the incremental revenue are new sales, up-selling, and cross-selling.

If defining ROI were that simple, why is ROI development the hardest part of any project approval process? We analyze the top 5 challenges faced by organizations in defining and measuring return on investment.

1) The challenge of numbers to define and measure ROI: For those that watch Shark Tank, the common questions asked by the sharks are usually about customer acquisition cost and margin on sales. This effectively quantifies the dollars spent to grow revenue and dollars spent to service the customer. Most companies face the challenge of defining their existing cost models. While some may be successful in providing aggregated costs, most companies face the challenge of itemizing the dollars spent at a departmental or functional level. Due to the lack of clarity in itemized costs, ROI dollars are skewed or biased towards getting a project approved rather than the actual results. Innovative and creative project owners that want to get their programs approved use easy routes such as industry benchmarks or competitor standards. These shortcuts create a gap between the ideal and actual returns on the project investment. Such foundational flaws in defining metrics create long-term structural weaknesses in digital programs.

2) Cross-functional leadership alignment on sales, productivity, and efficiency: Digital strategy and transformation impacts all functional units of an organization. Business leaders from leaders from sales, marketing, customer service, product management, supply chain, HR, channel partners, legal, and compliance need to be aligned to create a compelling business case for digital transformation. Digital is seen as an ally by some units and a threat by others. With those that see it as an ally, this translates into the optimization of people, process, and technology that require alignment with human resources, finance, and legal functions within an organization. However, it causes tension and stress across organizations to deal with complex topics such as headcount reduction, losing control, and departmental budget impact. Many functional leaders fail to identify, accept, or acknowledge the need for efficiencies within their departmental processes. Brainstorming ROI for new projects across multiple departments requires leadership teams to align with the business goals and results. ff782bc1db
