I suppose that virtual midi ports exist also in iOS because I noticed that when I open a synth app I could send midi message to it through a port that the synth creates at opening (for example I opened Kaspar, Igrand, iSynphonic, synthmaster one and after cubasis and from cubasis I have a list of output midi ports with the name of apps opened through I can send message from cubasis to these other apps).
I can successfully boot and connect to an Ubuntu vm running in Synology's virtual machine manager, when using Safari or Chrome on desktop. However neither works when on an iPad. I've also enabled desktop sharing in Ubuntu and tried connecting using the VNC app on iPad, but that fails as well.

Hi, I am using the same email to login to zoom for laptop & IPad. Virtual background already setup in laptop. But when I use iPad, virtual background does not show. I try to search for changing of virtual background function but could not find in setting.
My first idea was to assume that the keyboard is visible when a text field has focus. However, when an external keyboard is attached to an iPad, the virtual keyboard does not show up when a text field receives focus.
During the focus event you can scroll past the document height and magically the window.innerHeight is reduced by the height of the virtual keyboard. Note that the size of the virtual keyboard is different for landscape vs. portrait orientations so you'll need to redetect it when it changes. I would advise against remembering these values as the user could connect/disconnect a bluetooth keyboard at any time.
I have the latest VirtualBox. I have filters for the iPad. But it does not show up in my virtual Windows vista My Computer screen or virtual iTunes. When I try to right click the little USB icon and select it it says
EDIT: my iPad is in recovery mode, maybe why it can't be seen in virtualbox? Also my host is running Zonealarm firewall and Microsoft Security Essentials. In addition the guest has AVG antivirus. Could those programs conflict with virtualbox?
I followed the same steps, and guest Windows(XP) was able to see the iPad as a camera device, but iTunes couldn't see the device. I doubted that it was because USB2.0 support wasn't enabled from the USB ports configurations of my virtual machine in VirtualBox.

The connection from ipad to pc works fine (i can use the keyboard without issues). Using the vm on the pc itself also works fine. But when i try to use the vm through remote desktop, the keyboard is remapped to garbage values (most keys have no value, 1 is M, 2 is N, 3 is .).

Okay, so I've sorted some of my problems. All of the buttons work as advertised, but having a really hard time getting the displays to show up on the ipad. When I go to configure the displays, none of the overlays show up unless I restart my computer. I can set them up, and then they end up disappearing when I go to adjust them again.
Android has an option to keep the virtual keyboard visible while a Bluetooth/hardware keyboard is connected but there seems to be no such equivalent on iOS. When a hardware keyboard is connected, the virtual (on-screen) cannot be used.
But in iOS, there is no built-in option to keep the virtual keyboard visible when a hardware keyboard is connected. If you have connected a hardware keyboard, then I don't think you need the virtual keyboard anymore.
